Unlike the old Napoleonic games, G&B puts a neat *twist* to its plot. The feeling I get from this game is like the WW1 Christmas Truce, even if you are in opposing sides. At the end of the day, you are still human, trying to survive every day. It's honestly really refreshing to see a new type of game thriving as it is. Today it's very rare to see an actual good game with mixed genres that's not also pay-to-win. Which also makes it greater, nonetheless.

Well sorry to break it to ya but one of my friends say you can just pay robux to unlock the priest. Because SOMEHOW it’s possible to sell something in game without haveing it listed in the shop... I don’t believe him, but by his arguments G&B is a filthy pay-to-win (sorry for the confusion. i fixed it. but autocorrect thinks thats robux? nonononono you meant robin.

I remember when I first saw a clip of this game. It instantly interested me, "is that a zombie game? with muskets?". Even though I do think it loses the novelty after quite a while, it is absolutely phenomenal in so many aspects intentional or not. I think I can create a short video essay just meat riding this game because it really feels like "an actual game" but it was made in Roblox.

I was there when it first started, when there was 1 map(endless) 6 main classes, and like 0 customisation except for nations. I literally got on the game and liked it bc I was tired at the mechanics of blood and iron, like why do you have to stop and shoot in blood and iron, it makes 0 sense. I get that weapons were bulky back then but not that bulky.

at first, I was worried about how the horror in this game was, but I tried out Guts & Blackpowder and it instantly became my favourite Roblox game

Well to be Fair G&B can be horror too! What you need is Play Catacomb and Strayed from the team or solo Catacomb in Private Server (anyway i remember that Private server is suprisingly free) and just let the Game cook with how random it Zombies spawn!

The music selection for the game is god tier, because of how well songs fit for the time period the game is in, and the scenarios you and others find yourselves in. Ode to Joy at the end of Kaub, 1812 Overture for the defense of Paris
All the music is a easy S tier
G&B is phenomenol. The whole setting is genius and unique. All classes have a reason to be used. All missions are enjoyable (if teammates good). Interesting zombies. Just an amazing game
I came across gnb a little less than a year ago, and I fell in love with the concept and game. The gameplay just feels, so grand. I don’t know how else to explain it, but once you get a competent server and everyone is getting into it, it’s a unique feeling. Just tearing through these endless hordes of zombies surrounded by your comrades and “only armed with muskets and swords” as the game description details, while all working towards one objective: salvation. Each map (especially the longer objective ones) has a carefully thought out story and a rewarding finish. The entire game is reliant on your team working together, and once they do, it really is an experience unlike any other. You really feel like a desperate napoleonic soldier simply trying to make it out of these hellish scenarios alive.

In my opinion, the best roblox game is called Abyssal. It's a very simple obby game but they do it extremely well. If you have the time I would recommend you play it
The devs of this game are crazy, I mean who thinks to make a zombie game and be like “screw it, there are 20 of you, all your characters suck, have fun fighting hoards of the undead”

I remember sappers absolutely manhandling wave and 40 above with a single barricade inside a house. Around that time I remember bombers did nothing to barricades
I don’t know about that but it came from someone who is pretty bad at Solo *Yet* still able to solo Tyrolean Village with Sapper class

For infantry I would say A if an officer that actually uses the charge is present (I've been in games with like, 3-4 officers and not a single charge the whole game) since the bayonets allow to one shot anything in their path with ease (and it makes a significant difference in how many zombies your team will kill during a charge compared to the sabers), and they can quickly switch to the rifle shooting mode if a barrel is present, I agree on B if not officer is present or they just don't use the charge (Why are you even using that damn class then when we have 0/1 Sappers/surgeons????).
Line infantry is an s tier you have so many guns and weapons to pick from in bubbles shop that can make you either into a pikeman or a sniper
With recent added weapons like heavy saber, line infantry is S+ tier

As someone who has been playing for about 6 months now its great to see this game getting the appreciation that it deserves.
The first roblox zombie game I played that has grabbing (very realistic)
One of the main reasons i like G&B isn’t because of the actual objective mods or whatever, but because of custom arcade lobbies where you can have mini guns with knight armor mowing eachother down as a sapper builds a palace. Absolute blast, would recommend.
Grrr im a seaman main and *insert 5 pages worth of sentences abt how seaman is the best class*!!!!!

Yeah this game is great. I’ve burnt over 500 hours on it, and firstly found it way back in September 2022 when it the only map available was hougmont. It’s great seeing people actually appreciate the game for being pretty damn well made, and not just by Roblox standards. I’m betting my flat screen tv that either GnB or Hellmet will win best shooter this year, especially since the “voting polls” aren’t even really for voting. They’re just there for players to try and predict which game will win each selection. It’s about time Roblox started getting some quality games.

I played guts and blackpowder, Its one of my favorite games, the endless stuff was a done a bit dirty tho, from wave 20 and on, you’re likely only surviving by having a good team, or having a clutch teammate.
With rifle, line infantry becomes the ultimate sniper to take out bombers from afar, plus it ignores zapper resistance
Also, endless maps are a good way to get francs
Just got old guard today glad to see this game getting some recognition

We all have different opinions, but we should agree that there are “multiple” best games, just in different genres.

Beginnings 2 (Survival)
Waste of Space (Space Sandbox)
Pressure (Horror)
Untitled Planet Game (A simple space game that no longer exists)
Siphon (An extremely fast movement shooter and the best shooter on the entire platform)
Definitely one of the best Roblox Games. Ever. It’s not brain rot and it doesn’t have pay to win game passes. Just an honest and fun game.
Maybe the real Guts & Blackpowder were the francs we made along the way
G&B is the Napoleonic Version of lfd2. Both require a team of people in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. Completing objectives while shooting down hordes just to have a chance of escaping and surviving
It’s just something about the sound of swinging the saber and killing a zombie that’s just satisfying…

Most good games on roblox like guts and blackpowder get unnoticed mainly because two reasons, 1: roblox is really only known as a little kids game that’s not very interesting to most people who haven’t played it
2: roblox pushes those low effort kids games or low effort sponsor games that overshadow actually good games on roblox

Guts and blackpowder is fun( it’s even more fun on mobile( don’t try)) they took a shot gun and turned it into Napoleon era weaponery, it’s fun for zombie fans and also if you want gore there’s an option
you can get hidden badge when you complete the objective mode.
Most modern shooters don't give the anesthetic of war like CENTAURA. It is pretty brutal and it has decent lore (PS. one the characters has a pretty brutal death. DON'T read her death if you want pstd) and it fits the anesthetic of war PERFECTLY. It is also a prequel to a naval game that is pretty decent but usually has low player amounts.
Probably because the game gets boring quickly and gunplay is way too fast paced.

your tierlist is kinda mid id put line infantry on B tier,seaman on A tier,officer on S tier,musician on A tier,sapper on A tier,with surgeon and chaplain both in B tier since theyre situational.

Well Lancer, Pikeman and Musketeer are great for clearing Copenhagen when you’re on the boat due to lack of space.
Been playing this since late 22 ( they moved the game at Jan 31 2023 to its own group) it’s great still but it’s rare meet the players I used to play with
