- I just wanted to take a moment and share something about my life with all of you. I have been trying to find a way to speak up about this for a while so with some encouragement from my wife, I just sat down in front of the camera and this is what came out. If any of you have any questions or if you want to share anything please feel free in the comments below.

Ohhh wow! You are an amazing person. Seriously. I admire you. This year is being a very hard one. I started studying biology at one of the best Universities of Latin America and I really want to follow this academic life since I was 12! But I am not taking that hard yet, you know? I am like "doing my job but nothing exceptional". I wanna do it exceptional! And I lost my grandmother. I mean... she is amazing (and I still using a is where I should use was). The person who told me the values I care about today. Honour, courage, strength, attitude, faith... and I really miss her. Especially at this very different moment in my life, at the university. I think that I always had the habit to look for the good side of things. Or the natural one. So my mind gets this. It knows it is part of life. It knows that she was so sick. It knows that God prepared everything cz she had a pretty blessed death, in my father's arms, with no pain. But my heart is not there yet.
"Oh, you just lost her". Not exactly. It was at my first day at University, in February. And my heart is not there yet.
Chris, thank you for opening this space to us. You are a very good soul. May God bless you always!

Should never be ashamed what you had to go through such a strong person for going through that. I greatly respect you for the strong person you are and I thought my life was bad having a masters degree almost a phd and cant find a job smh, I think i just need to move but then i read and watch comments and this. I wish i could do more for the world then i can one day when i find a nice job i will be able to pay back or forward everything. Keep strong and nice to see you opened up your experiences with us.

I am so glad you’ve fully recovered. What perfect timing for your insurance and medical treatment. I, too, am a cancer survivor. Not a fun club to be in but there have been many blessings along the way that encouraged me. I can’t imagine having gone through it quietly the way you did. You are a strong soul. I’m grateful you shared this story.
What kinda cancer were you dealing with? Thanks for the kind encouraging words. It means the world
I had stage 3 colon cancer in 2017. It was in 2 of 39 lymph nodes they took out. I had surgery and chemo. I’ve been NED for two years now and have graduated to bloodwork every 6 months. I still get scans once a year and although I hate all that radiation, I want to have the opportunity to get a head start if ever it makes an appearance again.
Melanoma is a tough cancer. I’m grateful you caught yours. I grew up in Laurinburg...there is something about the Sandhills and the sun, right? I get a skin check every year as I’m sure you have to do now too.
you are such a bright light in this world chris! and you are good. and kind. and you’re only stronger for having gone through this. i’m so grateful you’re here to tell the tale. 💛 we’re all better for knowing you.

Im just curious about how close you and Luke have of the same personality. Like how alike are you personalities and what is different. Cause we know you are very compassionate and it is said (and true) that Luke is the more compassionate twin out of Liv and Luke
I would like to think Luke and I have a lot in common. The biggest similarities are our love and devotion for our family and our appreciation of the nature world.
