  • Did you know that the ocean launches bacteria and other goo into the atmosphere? And that those particles can seed clouds? Atmospheric chemist Kimberly Prather of UCSD and the Scripps Institution of Oceanography drops some serious knowledge on us. ↓↓More info and references below↓↓

Pretty cool stuff, that rain is partially created by life. More reason to protect and create space for all life to flourish and reduce life destroying activities on all levels. Why not plant more trees and re-green surface area instead of anthropocentric messing with the atmosphere?

Hi, you should talk about how lightnings fertilize soil.

I would love to focus on the video.....I cannot hear what is being said in my fairly quiet environment :,(
Please consider raising the volume level
I was able to hear the woman speak clearly in the middle of the video
The rest of it I wasn't able to make out clearly- it sounds like someone is whispering in the room near me
I really enjoy the topic but I will have to come back to this video later when I am in total silence

You right. I should have said covers instead of makes up.

@@MattDavenportPhD A little late to the party here, but had to search for this info. You are both right as she explains in more detail at 2:01 what you summarize at 1:25 for the rest of us mortals. Some people just want one explanation, but it is nice to have both for summarization then detailed clarification.
