So proud of my cousin Matt. He has worked so hard and for so many years to earn his success in Berlin. Very happy you brought attention to his delicious food.
'Aggressive evening of pint shopping' 'It is what it is' - They are are fkg chapters in my autobiography. Smashing it out of the park, fellas. Love your work!
Great video guys, this brings back so many memories. I was lucky enough to visit Berlin in 2019 before everything went pear shaped and this is one of the most underrated cities in Europe for food. It's well worth a visit over Munich.
Gotta say. Im from Sweden and I loved and followed you guys since 4 years back or something. Haven't traveled to many of the places featured in all your videos (but will .... not Will) but since we visit London almost every year we found Kappacasein´s amazing chessemelts and Borough Market, Skygarden and Camden market among other things thanks to you, so Cheers mates and keep up the magnificent work!
Dudes, The scenes in this video from 23.16 mins to 23.22, before the Muted Horn, and the from 24.17 to 24.35 are magical and gave the true vibe of the locale. And I will say, come to Bombay aka Mumbai again and I shall make you go around on a roller coaster of food delights. Will be watching the Copenhagen 48 hrs next so see you later. M
If you do Reykjavík, Iceland it would be a pleasure to show you around the best spots for food and entertainment, as that is quite literally my job, as a personal guide 😅
Hi I loved this video again. About the curry 36 stand, the 36 in Curry 36 stands for the house number (Mehringdamm 36) you also have curry 7, curry 32 (not the same company but also named after the address ) I would like for you to visit the Netherlands there are so many beautiful places outside of Amsterdam to discover and especially to eat there ( Rotterdam, Utrecht, Groningen, Maastricht). But I would also love to see an episode about Vienna, Athens, Prague, Budapest, Stockholm, Bruges, Barcelona. Just go through all the capitals in Europe.
Come to Brazil! You'll need considerably more than 48 hours in each city you visit though. There's a lot to see, eat and drink. I'll keep some caipirinha's on ice for you lads till then, cheers!
Brilliant once again boys! Where to next? The ad portion was very well done actually watched it all, keep thinking of different ways to show them while keeping people engaged!
Curry 36 is located at Mehringdamm 36. Many years ago there was a guide line that shops needed to put the house number on the sign. That's what the owner did, they wrote "Curry" next to it they drew a sausage and wrote the house number... The people started to call it "Curry 36". Today it became a patter in Berlin, like "Bar 25" or "Späti 42"
The Number 36 stands for one part of the district Kreuzberg. Because the districts are so big in Berlin they're subdivided into parts and get numbers. So if you see a restaurant or pub with 36 it's original from the 36 part of Kreuzberg :)
Loved the vid, Berlin looks amazing can't wait to visit. Actually great to see Jesse talking a little history! So great to see your partnership with Sky Cinema hope it leads to a TV series! Dune is an amazing film, saw it in cinema, recommend it 100% too!
I know you have just been in Germany, but I really recommend Munich in summer! English Garden and Isar river with a beer, nice bars in Schwabing, Viktualienmarkt (food market), beer gardens, Bavarian food and international spots like Gigi's (Italian). Such good vibes
@@topjaw you know, I think as long as you ask people if they want to be filmed, it will be okay. I guess most Germans just want to asked before, but then they will be okay with it :)
It's a shame you didn't do any of the Middle Eastern food in Berlin, because that is a thriving scene that ranges between cheap street food and fine dining. There is so much in there that you could do a video just on that.
Another gorgeous episode, with the peaks coming at dusk on the first day and the very atmospheric foggy night on the second. The colors almost upstaged the food and drinks, the latter noted as coming a bit early in the day? If Jesse ever starts the day at 8AM by saying the crew were on the way to a doughnut and coffee, but saw a people lined up outside of liquor store waiting for it to open, it may be time time for the "48 Days in Rehab" episode. 🤣😐 In the meantime how about an episode from Alaska in the summer? 🤔
Love watching your videos, and this one is no exception! You should hit Turkey, I think it would be great to see their culture and passion for food as a non-European country. Keep up your amazing work :)
Top Drawer Top Jaw as per usual! Glad I follow Jesse on Strava because i otherwise wouldn't be able to figure out how he puts it all away lol. Been begging for you to stop by Bermuda for years. It's different - I know. But it's worth it. And then you can head from here to New York, Toronto or Miami. Gotta do it!

@@topjaw no problem! Helped myself too😊
You lads should hit Portugal! the Lisbon and Porto food scene is absolutely bursting at the seems.
Hey, i am going to be in Porto in a couple weeks - do you have a recommendation by any chance?
@@Feadzy try the mouco hotel.
So proud of my cousin Matt. He has worked so hard and for so many years to earn his success in Berlin. Very happy you brought attention to his delicious food.
Love your job guys! Some next destinations could be: Athens, Brussels, Budapest or somewhere in south French coast to name a few.. Keep smashing it :)
thats too expensive for them. they only eat at places that cost 10€ or less
'Aggressive evening of pint shopping' 'It is what it is' - They are are fkg chapters in my autobiography. Smashing it out of the park, fellas. Love your work!
Loved this episode! The mistiness at night gave a lovely atmosphere.
Suggestions: Vienna(Austria), Istanbul, Glasgow and Brussels.
I would love to see a video on restaurants and pubs in the outskirts of London, country and suburban. I have found some gems.
The OG Curry36 was located in the tiny entrance of house number 36 in the Mehringdamm street
Actually the funniest city Tour I´ve ever seen! im in tears.
That guy's take on NOT getting sauce on your kebab is absolutely intolerable
well he said it is controversial as many other people say
nah a lot of the sauces used are brutal and ruin it
Both is fine but everyone in Berlin knows that a good Döner does NOT require sauce at all.
Mache ich auch immer so. Nur ein paar Chiliflocken.
Hallo gaes

It's time you guys came to Cambodia, Vietnam, and the rest of SE Asia 🌏 Plenty of food here to keep you filming forever. Love your videos ❤️❤️
fantastic guys !....I visited in 2017, Berlin is such an under rated city, fantastic food, History & people !, can't wait to go back there
would love to see Stockholm or Budapest next!!! these are lovely cities with a huge food/bar scene
Yes, Stockholm is a beautiful summer city with a huge night life, huge food scene and a large achipelago with sea food :)
Do 48 Hours in Madrid
Brilliant once again boys! Where to next? The ad portion was very well done actually watched it all, keep thinking of different ways to show them while keeping people engaged!
48 hours in NYC is long overdue!
Guys, you should really come to Spain, specially to Madrid! Culinary speaking one of the best countries in the world :)
Love spain but food in madrid is badd
Banger, come to Milan!
Just got back from Budapest guys. Amazing place. Everything from cheap as chips Pales for the Males, to your mind blowing cocktails. It's a MUST.

Tolles Video! Ich lebe jetzt seit 7 Jahren in Berlin und dies war eine sehr getreue Darstellung dieser wundervollen, geschäftigen Stadt

Berlin just moved to number 1 for my next city break trip! I can't wait!
Great video! I've lived in Berlin for 7 years now and this was a very faithful depiction of this wonderful bustling city 🥰

Wrong. it is the house number 36.
Kreuzberg 36 is further in the east around Oranienplatz
Seville next please lads ✌
The Reichstag actually was built in the 19th century, not the 18th. Apart from that: very entertaining👍!
I love Berlin have been a few times but I have to be honest my digestive tract has never been the same since my first currywurst
Keep the videos coming! These keep my going, guys. Great content, impressive editing.
