I've had something similar to this for about 15 years now. It's mounted on the very top of a 50 foot antenna tower. However, I took a slightly different approach with that zap voltage jazz and raised the transformers secondary 2kv high amp grid wire melting output by changing the 60 hz 120 vac 5 amps input voltage and freq to 160 Vdc 1.5 amps at 1.5 to 3 khz with a 15 nano second pulse rate thus, producing a new secondary voltage of 4 to 6 kv - 300 ma via 20 kv .033 ceramic capacitors in parallel with the grid.
This is AMAZING and exactly what I was looking for. Don’t think you’re gonna have any issues with a clogged grid anymore 🤣

Is that for bugs or UFO'S ?
It's for information that goes right over his head.......@@MrDavew402
Use a car ignition coil with a light dimmer.
Does anyone have a video on how to use a microwave transformer into a bug zapper
I just put one up today with a current limited pair of MOT's. Portazap 4400.
What is the value of the capacitor ??
I need that
How did you wire it up?
