For the batwing awning, did he mention if it’s easy to pop up and down alone? I’m considering doing the batwing since the 23Zero is out of stock right now.
Is this owner from Hampton Roads area in Virginia? This hike trailer is configured almost exactly like I want. I would love to take a look at it before I order mine.
You can go to the Hikertrailers.com site and put in the size and add ons that you feel would work best for you. As you add accessories, it shows you the price change. This is the best way to find out the cost of a trailer that would fit your needs. They start as low as $6000 for the most basic 5x8 highway model and can go up to the high $20,000 to low $30,000 based on size and accessories. The average is around $15-18,000
electric brakes are an option. Do you travel alot in the Mountains? If so you might want them. If you travel flat land most of the time then no needed.
@JMoNoVa thank you so much. We have a HT coming this spring and one of our cars is a Subaru so we have been doing all the research as well to see if it will work, but it's also nice to hear from other's experiences. I appreciate all the info. We're very excited. Cheers.
We love it. We have two of them now one for renting and one for us. I went and found an owner when I was looking and made a visit to see there and do a walk around. That is the best option.
Very nice. A different and very workable setup. Thank you for sharing and be safe.
Nice. You can tell he’s clean and organized.

Great video! I guess I better call Wes and figure out what I want.

In your opinion. What are the very basic features a hiker should have for immediate travel in any weather? For us brand newbies. Thanks

You are correct - thanks for catching that. I updated the description.
