Hi jmm1000, thanks for watching. The are 3 wires to connect. Behing the gauge you will have 3 connectors, +12V, Sensor and Ground to connect. Hope this helps.
PS the gauge light if you have one, it will connect to +12V also

BNTECHGO 16 Gauge Silicone Wire Spool Blue 25 feet Ultra Flexible High Temp 200 deg C 600V 16 AWG Silicone Rubber Wire 252 Strands of Tinned Copper Wire Stranded Wire for Model Low Impedance a.co/d/6ylCUvt
For power, ground and light 16 AWG is good enough 👍
