- Turns out engine swaps in Gran Turismo 7 can get pretty wild, like swapping a 4.2 V8 into a Toyota MR2. I test it against the standard setup and... we already know the V8 is better but we have to do it anyway!

Fun fact, the famous Tom's Castrol Supra was actually engine swapped with the engine out of an MR2 Turbo/Celica GT4 and modified up to around 500bhp. Love an MR2👌🏼
Fun fact 2.0 the 3sgte used in all 3 cars mentioned above can be pushed to 800bhp

@@Jean_Driftstein the 2jz is just 2+2 easy to make power. Big turbo decent tune easy 5-600 hp
@@marcelluscunningham9071 I can't deny of it, but here is the thing: the 2JZ is a really heavy engine, swapping into some car might upset the weight distribution of the car and cause understeer.
Man can't wait to see the LFA Lexus in gt7 to tell Theo the Lexus is the better than the Carrera GT

You forgot to say which grade of tire, this looks like a sport tire as race tires would need much more camber.

Only if you don’t know how to drive. Snap oversteer was just coined by idiots who don’t know how to drive them, they’re actually very grippy and stick to the road like glue when you keep your foot down.
@@scottautoprep94 exactly, if you have any experience driving on a track it’s not a problem but normies and 16-22 year olds buy an MR2 and start breaking around a corner then wrap her around a tree, that’s why they are getting to be rare cars and the price is going back up on them
Depending on how in depth they went into settings etc, your wheel feeling lighter sounds right, with the R8 engine in you have a lot more weight in the rear and less in the front, so try putting some weight back on the front and try it

I have owned 2 MR2's in the real world. Both were the MK2 GT T-Bar 2.0 editions with rear spoiler. The 1st car was red, the 2nd car was white. Both featured black leather interiors. I fastest speeds i managed to hit, was 125+ mph (201kph). While the car was great on sunny days, it was difficult to drive in windy conditions, and very difficult to drive in the rain. I managed to spin the thin on the a number of occasions, normal in the rain, taking roundabouts too fast ;D ..i'm a sucker for pop up lights, which the Toyota MR MK2 features :D

The MR2 is one of my all time favourite cars , my best friends mum had one back in the 90s and I still think it looks absolutely beautiful.

Hey pants, if you want a more stable car here's what you need to do: buy a customisable LSD and put it on low settings, lower the suspension enough so the wheel is still able to fully turn, ad more camber in the rear for less oversteer, make the front roll bars stiffer and loosen up the rear, and for the final touch, of you want a more racecar feel bump up the natural frequency. You're welcome

Incredible? Glitches get fixed and this is a live game, so these things tend to get worked on relatively early. Sorry you missed it, but I'm pretty sure PD will move this to a store or something because waiting for lucky engine rolls in that dumb gatcha system for daily marathon is foolishness of the highest order.

The steering is lighter because the engine is heavier. Less weight on the steering axles. Also the reason for the rear swinging around way more.

Not gonna lie. The best part of GT7 has to be the molded wide-body kits. I don't think a single one of them looks bad, and the R33 turns into sex on wheels.

The roulette was garbage. Even with unlimited 4 stars for a time most of the rewards have been crap. They give you those stupid invitations to buy super cars you don’t care for or already own. A pathetic 10k, or a part to a car you don’t care for.

Pd let the glitch happen on purpuse we all know that, i think many did it for engine swaps and special car parts witch is why i did it have over 50 special car parts, gained about 70 million and 200 free cars

I think it’s so weird that the only R8 in the game is the V8 one
Maybe swap a modern engine into a classic car next? (EX: '65 Mini with Honda Civic '20 engine swap) I bet that would make a muscle car killer with proper aero. Though I'd try it as a sleeper first.
