Lord Krishna is the most loved god, his childhood is the most heavenly described. He has got many names, among all those, my favorite name of him is Madhav. His mother used to call him Kanha/Kanhaiya😊 Edit: My mistake, Radha ji's name was not mentioned in mahabharat.

Thats why for us the songs and bhajans are so much divine, emotional and of purity. But the serial is really bogus they had shown many things factually wrong and even meshed up the purity and love of them. Because in reality When Krishna was 16 years old he left Vrinadavan and went to Mathura then after he established Dwaka city as his kingdom but never returned Vrinadavan nor lived with Radha Rani ji.

Radharani is so sacred that her name isn't even taken in most of the scriptures, she's always been mentioned indirectly as "most loved of the supreme", "highest devotee" and as such. Radharani is so much glorified in puranas (brahma puran) that it is said that her devotees are carried in palanquins by the gods.
There is a major confusion. In Hinduism the correct word is Mithak मिथक (mithak means an oral story that has been transferred through generations). In Hinduism the story wasn't as important, as the moral of the story was. There is a saying...Hari anant, hari katha ananta. Hinduism wasn't interested in keeping the physical records of the story (which is what History is), as much as it was interested in bringing about a change in consciousness. There are about 300 Ramayanas. Mahabharat was earlier known as Jaya and was a compilation of numerous stories or incidents written over hundreds of years until it became one comprehensive book. You would be surprised to know that the word Ved Vyas isn't a name (Dwaipayan was the name of the person), it means copy editor, vyas means editor...ved vyas means copy editor of the Vedas. Mithak has been incorrectly translated into English by Britishers or Indologists as Myth from which mythology has originated. The word myth has originated from the word mithya मिथ्या which means lie. So as far I have understood, Hinduism is a sort of anushrut gyan (अनुश्रुत). It is like the story of the blind men and the elephants, different people see the same story and interpret it differently. It is neither strictly history, and definitely not at all mythology, but Mithak in my understanding....if someone remembers the word kimvadanti (Sanskrit for who said it: Kim vadanti)... In Hinduism what was said has always been considered more important than who said it. Also, there's this quote: Ekam sat, vipram bahudha vadanti...There is but one truth (your own heart), different people see it differently and speak it differently. Even the word satya or truth (history which many people consider a proof of truth) is made up of sah + tat meaning this and that.... meaning truth is sometimes this, sometimes that. Our truths keep changing as we get to know our hearts better.
See, the culture portrayed, the society portrayed in these writings is definitely our history, but the events are not. History is what is based on facts, not belief! The time period of various religious writings is still not clear and only hindus believe in the story. History is not to be believed, history is to be accepted with facts. Yes the first episode was really good and even I was addicted to show.. Hoping that it will not potray anything wrong about the history or different from it... u know adding extra masala to the show which many serials do .. But now the show is really on the wrong track it is showing the events which never even happened.. The director is just putting up stories of his own or misinterpreting the history... "Hindu mythology" as called by you people never even mentions religion in it's shows. Some people get confused with modern word Dharma, but Dharma means Duty. So Hindu mythologies are far beyond bullsh!t things like religion. It's key of our locked life.
More accurately Dharma means balance between the individual choice/freedom vs larger responsibility/ethic. Duty that would maintain the balance-law of nature-is Dharma. But yes quick translation would be duty - but with more elaborate and conscious concept.

The shooting place is just 1 hour drive from my home It's vrindavan studio umergaon, in South Gujarat . Even the shooting of serial Ramayana early 90's and many serial shoots at same place. I have visited this studio from Ramayana to radhe Krishna. the studio is at sea beach of South Gujarat.

This is krishna youth story of childhood and true love. Later adult life of krishna is in Mahabharat. His whole life spent in fixing dharma, war against bad etc but still shows true meaning of love.

Okay so I'll try to explain the story in the shortest way possible. Sorry if I miss out on something and please correct me if I'm wrong. Lord Krishna is considered to be the 8th Avatar of Lord Vishnu and Radha is considered to be an Avatar of Goddess Lakshmi. They reside in Golok. In the first episode (if you guys watch it, it is one of the most beautiful episode of Radha Krishna serial) we see that Lord Krishna and Goddess Radha they love each other so much that they're almost like reflection of each other. But one of the friend and also a devotee of Lord Krishna, Sudama gets jealous. He says that Radha's love is fake and asks her to stay away from Lord Krishna. Lord Krishna goes to his room and asks Sudama to not to let anyone inside. After going inside he calls Radha. Since, they're almost the same Radha can feel him calling her name. She tries to enter the room forcibly. There was distance of seven steps between the door and Radha that's when Sudama curses her that she would forget Lord Krishna for 100 years and would stay on Earth.

Yea, its also related to Mahabharat. After his separation from Radha and making his own Kingdom Dwaraka he then jumps into Mahabharat. The epic tale of Kurushetra War (place in Haryana ) which was fought between Kauravas and Pandavas. Krishn, the avatar of hindu diety Vishnu, guides Pandavas to the victory of this war. Actually Pandavas (5 brothers) and Kauravas (a 100 brothers) belonged to the same family of "King Shantanu" . Still they didn't have a good bond. As Kauravas were misleaded by their uncle Shakuni ( king of Gandhaar present day Afghanistan and their mother's brother) they never made peace with Pandavas. Pandavas were married to Draupadi (princess of Panchal) also known as "Panchali " because she had five husbands which were the Pandavas. She was often disrespected by the Kauravas specially the eldest son named Duryodhan who always questions her character as she had relationship with 5 men. Our mythology says that Draupadi was born from "Fire". She was considered the purest women on Earth. She was given to Drupad (king) as a boon from the God itself. Because of some situations she had to marry the five brothers. Later on as Duryodhan didn't want Yudhisthir (eldest of the Pandavas ) to be among the greatest of the emprors , he plans a game of backgammon with his uncle Shakuni and invites the Pandavas and his wife to play the game. After getting Yudhisthir trapped in his game he then slowly takes all his property and makes Yudhisthir a servant moreover he also makes his wife the queen ( Draupadi) a servant too. But she denies to serve him. After a lot of argument Duryodhan orders his brother "Dushasan" to nude her in the assembly hall. Draupadi and Krishn had a special bond, they both were like friends to each other . Krishn was away from Hastinapur fighting a battle but seeing all this from a distance ( supernatural powers) he stops Draupadi from being humiliated . He keeps her respect by saving her from being naked . In Hindu religion Draupadi is considered as a Goddess though she is not worshiped. I recommend you to watch this show Mahabharat (2013) directed by Siddharth Kumar Tiwari, he also directed Radhakrishn and many more mythological serials. Mahabharat show is available on Disney Hotstar, it has all episodes with English Subtitles and is divided into many seasons moreover it is also dubbed in many languages. Be careful that you should watch the hindi one. The main episodes are from season 15 episode 8 to episode 13 and season 16 episode 1 . When Draupadi is humiliated and I bet you guys when you'll watch it ,you'll definitely get goosebumps.If you'll watch then please upload the reviews including the episodes too. Its tells when when a women is not being respected then the consequences leads to a dreadful disaster. She curses the entire family saying that whoever have watched this sin being done and didn't said anything they all will get the fruit which leads to the war of Kurushetra and all the men ,Kings who took part in the war died leaving the five Pandavas . Its an epic guys . The epic tells that what lies you have said ,sin you've done will definitely give you a fruit/ result. It teaches us what "Dharma" is. Whatever I wrote isn't fiction. Seriously, I'm not kidding. Its written in our legends. The place on which the war was held , the soil is still red in colour which depicts that more then a number of people were killed there. You should watch it and tell us what you feel .
This serial had exaggerated most things.. Watching this one is entertaining but it will lead u to wrong facts... Most parts are exaggerated and based on fiction.. If u want to get educated about hindu mythology It is better to watch 2013 star plus mahabharat as the show depicts the story more based on true facts not fiction... And also remind u that the show was a great success..

As a kid, one of the ways I learned about Indian mythology and many of the legends was through animated movies I think it's a good place as any to get a basic understanding of these legends in a fun way these are some of the movies I can recall from the top of my head: 1. Hanuman(2005) 2. Bal Ganesha(2007) 3. Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama(1992) 4. Krishna by Rajiv Chilaka

Yes the first episode was really good and even I was addicted to show.. Hoping that it will not potray anything wrong about the history or different from it... u know adding extra masala to the show which many serials do .. But now the show is really on the wrong track it is showing the events which never even happened.. The director is just putting up stories of his own or misinterpreting the history... So it cannot be categorized as the best show in the history... In my opinion

"Hindu mythology" as called by you people never even mentions religion in it's shows. Some people get confused with modern word Dharma, but Dharma means Duty. So Hindu mythologies are far beyond bullsh!t things like religion. It's key of our locked life.
More accurately Dharma means balance between the individual choice/freedom vs larger responsibility/ethic. Duty that would maintain the balance-law of nature-is Dharma. But yes quick translation would be duty - but with more elaborate and conscious concept.

Mahavishnu [Hari, Narayana] is a principal deity in Hinduism, known as the Absolute protector of the universe beyond human comprehension and all attributes.
In Gauḍīya Vaishnavism, a school of Vaiṣṇavism, the Sātvata-tantra describes three different forms, or aspects, of Mahavishnu:
Kāraṇārṇavaśāyī Viṣṇu,
Garbhodakaśāyī Viṣṇu and
Kṣīrodakaśāyī Vishnu.
The term Mahavishnu refers to that Absolute truth Brahm(a) or Brahman (impersonal invisible aspect) then as Paramatma (Aspect beyond the understanding of human soul) and finally as Sarvatma(incarnating for bringing perfection).
So bhakti (loving devotion) goes to Sarvatman(Krishna or Rama avatars or incarnations of Vishnu, Narayana bringing both peace and perfection of the living beings). In this way, bhakti surpasses even yoga, which is aimed at the Supersoul, Paramatman.
Mahavishnu is the Supersoul of all living beings (jivaatmas) in all material universes. Kāraņodaksayi Vishnu is understood to be Sankarsana(form) of the Catur-vyuha of Nārāyaņa. It is also often used interchangeably with Vishnu to indicate reverence, as the prefix "Mahā" in vishnu indicates the greatness and the vastness of Narayan. So all the Gods including Purusha form like Shiva, Brahma are considered as the Part of Maha Vishnu Expansion.[Vishwaswaroop]
Mahavishnu is said to lie in the Causal Ocean or the Karanodak. He puts the seed of this material universe in Mahāmāyā by glancing at her. Mahāmāyā remains the ever obedient material energy of the Supreme Lord. All the natural elements including sky, fire, water, air and land are created along with mind, intelligence and false ego.
After this, Mahavishnu enters each of the many universes so created (seeds emerging from the pores of His skin) as Garbhodaksayi Vishnu, who lays down in each and every of these individual material universes (Brahmandas). It can be interpreted that Garbodakshayi Vishnu is the collective soul of all souls in a particular material universe and that Mahavishnu is the collective soul of all souls in all of the material universes.
From Garbhodaksayi Vishnu then emerges Brahmā who is the secondary creator (due to his need to meditate to create planets in the material universe) of the planetary systems within particularly this material universe (Brahmanda).

Okay so I'll try to explain the story in the shortest way possible. Sorry if I miss out on something and please correct me if I'm wrong.
Lord Krishna is considered to be the 8th Avatar of Lord Vishnu and Radha is considered to be an Avatar of Goddess Lakshmi.
They reside in Golok.
In the first episode (if you guys watch it, it is one of the most beautiful episode of Radha Krishna serial) we see that Lord Krishna and Goddess Radha they love each other so much that they're almost like reflection of each other. But one of the friend and also a devotee of Lord Krishna, Sudama gets jealous. He says that Radha's love is fake and asks her to stay away from Lord Krishna. Lord Krishna goes to his room and asks Sudama to not to let anyone inside. After going inside he calls Radha. Since, they're almost the same Radha can feel him calling her name. She tries to enter the room forcibly. There was distance of seven steps between the door and Radha that's when Sudama curses her that she would forget Lord Krishna for 100 years and would stay on Earth.

Yea, its also related to Mahabharat. After his separation from Radha and making his own Kingdom Dwaraka he then jumps into Mahabharat. The epic tale of Kurushetra War (place in Haryana ) which was fought between Kauravas and Pandavas. Krishn, the avatar of hindu diety Vishnu, guides Pandavas to the victory of this war. Actually Pandavas (5 brothers) and Kauravas (a 100 brothers) belonged to the same family of "King Shantanu" . Still they didn't have a good bond. As Kauravas were misleaded by their uncle Shakuni ( king of Gandhaar present day Afghanistan and their mother's brother) they never made peace with Pandavas. Pandavas were married to Draupadi (princess of Panchal) also known as "Panchali " because she had five husbands which were the Pandavas. She was often disrespected by the Kauravas specially the eldest son named Duryodhan who always questions her character as she had relationship with 5 men. Our mythology says that Draupadi was born from "Fire". She was considered the purest women on Earth. She was given to Drupad (king) as a boon from the God itself. Because of some situations she had to marry the five brothers. Later on as Duryodhan didn't want Yudhisthir (eldest of the Pandavas ) to be among the greatest of the emprors , he plans a game of backgammon with his uncle Shakuni and invites the Pandavas and his wife to play the game. After getting Yudhisthir trapped in his game he then slowly takes all his property and makes Yudhisthir a servant moreover he also makes his wife the queen ( Draupadi) a servant too. But she denies to serve him. After a lot of argument Duryodhan orders his brother "Dushasan" to nude her in the assembly hall. Draupadi and Krishn had a special bond, they both were like friends to each other . Krishn was away from Hastinapur fighting a battle but seeing all this from a distance ( supernatural powers) he stops Draupadi from being humiliated . He keeps her respect by saving her from being naked . In Hindu religion Draupadi is considered as a Goddess though she is not worshiped.
I recommend you to watch this show Mahabharat (2013) directed by Siddharth Kumar Tiwari, he also directed Radhakrishn and many more mythological serials. Mahabharat show is available on Disney Hotstar, it has all episodes with English Subtitles and is divided into many seasons moreover it is also dubbed in many languages. Be careful that you should watch the hindi one. The main episodes are from season 15 episode 8 to episode 13 and season 16 episode 1 . When Draupadi is humiliated and I bet you guys when you'll watch it ,you'll definitely get goosebumps.If you'll watch then please upload the reviews including the episodes too. Its tells when when a women is not being respected then the consequences leads to a dreadful disaster. She curses the entire family saying that whoever have watched this sin being done and didn't said anything they all will get the fruit which leads to the war of Kurushetra and all the men ,Kings who took part in the war died leaving the five Pandavas . Its an epic guys . The epic tells that what lies you have said ,sin you've done will definitely give you a fruit/ result. It teaches us what "Dharma" is.
Whatever I wrote isn't fiction. Seriously, I'm not kidding. Its written in our legends. The place on which the war was held , the soil is still red in colour which depicts that more then a number of people were killed there. You should watch it and tell us what you feel .
