As the silhouette in the lower right corner shows, the "Snooper Rifle" is the M3 Carbine w/ infrared spotlight & sniper scope kit. But then, why is there no spotlight on top of the sniper scope? Where is the backpack & rest of the kit? And why are there only 5 round magazines? First, I don't think there were any 5 round mags back then, only 15 or 30 as shown in the silhouette along with the infrared spotlight. What's wrong with having one 15-round mag instead of three 5-round mags? Not like the infrared spotlight would've gotten in the way of aiming. Another issue is the suppressed sound it makes when fired in-game. The M3 Carbine was not suppressed, however it did have a large, cone-shaped flash hider on the end of the barrel, that was unfortunately left out by the developers. It shouldn't work well enough to use with that much daylight or even under low light conditions. It was to protect against and ambush the sneaky Korean charges at night. I love how they actually brought this classic piece of history into the game though, just wish it were as accurate as they could allow.
