While I completely agree with you, one of the issues that people have with Clint's character arc was that it was sidelined, or, better put, not featured like the other Avengers. Sure, there was development/change, like you stated, but more was left implied than shown directly to the audience. For a fanbase that relies on the explicit 'show'ing of change/development (bc action, lol), we're left wanting, anyway you play it. Bruce (note: not the Hulk, but Bruce) also has this problem, as does Natasha to a certain extent... probably because they dont have the flashiest powers or the strongest personality. The three are more subtle than that, especially during conflict (where we the Avengers the most anyways).

I hope they make hawkeye badass and not kinda lame to establish Kate. This is the guy who was the only regular human on the avengers (unless MCU natasha doenst have the russian super soldier serum, i cant remember if it was established) a team with a god, a monster, a genius in a tech suit and drug enhanced super soldiers. After not getting much shine throughout the infity saga, he deserves some love in his own show.
MCU natasha does not have the serum. She might be very slightly enhanced with like her reflexes and stuff but shes supposed to be more or less a "regular" person
So looking forward to this! I think it looks great. It looks like a Marvel 2022 "Die Hard" remake with Clint as John McLean, turned into a 6-episode series - and Hawkeye gets to stick to super-criminal villains more in his ballpark, as opposed throwing knuckle sandwiches and shooting his bow and arrow at multi-dimensional gods and infinity-stone wielding, all-universe-powered super-beings!
While I know the show will probably end up with kate being the new hawkeye, I hope they'll treat Clint with respect, and give him the screentime he deserves.

So looking forward to this! I think it looks great. It looks like a Marvel 2022 "Die Hard" remake with Clint as John McLean, turned into a 6-episode series - and Hawkeye gets to stick to super-criminal villains more in his ballpark, as opposed throwing knuckle sandwiches and shooting his bow and arrow at multi-dimensional gods and infinity-stone wielding, all-universe-powered super-beings!
