"Pass the Duchie" song by this group is the FIRST BLACK BAND ever hosted by any music channel at the time of it's recording and release as a music video.
People who claim it was "Billie Jean" by Michael Jackson was the first ever song to be recorded and released forget the fact that it was several months after the "Pass the Dutchie" that it got released.
So, the fact is "Pass the Dutchie" came several months before "Billie Jean" and I love them both without realizing that I was born that same year of their releasing date.
Most of the people came here because it played on "Stranger Things - Season 4 eposide". But am thankful that they brought to our attention and bring forth this history making song to our modern youth and generation.
