I think this boss have similiar AI to Crawltipede's AI - it flies at you only when you in air, but if you are on ground it just flies around and waiting till you fly away from ground.

It would be pretty problematic if it was him, since he wouldn't be a good owner for Jared since the constant meteor storms, earthquakes and poopcano's wouldn't be healthy for him.
I never knew about not being able to RoD in the abyss and getting murdered by a gigantic worm and then having it spawn at my house was absolutely terrifying
@@touchingisjustthefirststep It's a biome in the Calamity mod. It replaces the ocean behind the Dungeon (I think) and it goes down to just before hell, with 4 layers each having varying enemies. If you use the Rod of Discord in the Abyss, the worm in the video spawns and kills you, and they will only attack if you have the RoD debuff or if you attack them. A glitch can cause a worm to appear where you respawn, like in the video.
