One of his best films I think, I saw it when I was quite young too. I never forgot the story, so it must be a good psychological thriller. 👍

An excellent psychological thriller, but very hard to get on Dvd.

Looks great in HD and there would by about 20gb+ of data on the Blu ray so even better than this clip. Said to be one of Sir Roger's films he liked the most, if not the one he did like the most. Can see why, it's spooky & sinister, there is also that tautness (as mentioned) to the film giving it that 'dynamic tension' all the way along.
Just wished we had Season 5 & 6 of the TV series the Saint out on Blu ray. The clamour for HD content is only going to increase with the sale of every 65" 4K TV. DVD material has now for some people become almost unwatchable, for any TV series of the 60's, 70's and later on, if they are able to be, they need cleaning up & bringing out on Blu ray else they will fall into disuse. Department S, Man in a Suitcase, UFO, Randall & Hopkirk etc these are the series that will endure for years to come. Especially should they ever get broadcast on a HD channel. A HD TV channel with HD movies & primarily HD TV series. No matter the content if it looks good picture quality wise folks will watch it, especially the 50+ year old stuff.
For some viewers they would barely leave this sort of HD channel to see anything else. It wouldn't do much for Blu ray sales of such material but a channel like that on Sky TV & Virgin TV would attract a lot of subscribers. Some would even join up with these outfits to get to see such an enterprise even if the TV series had adverts spliced in, people wouldn't mind so much, they are conditioned to it, though the odd movie televised would be best having adverts only before & after, not in-between.
Though called the 'Network Channel' not some sort of 'classic' in the titled channel name, there are too many classic this and classic that channels around already, it denotes OLD, there could be newer HD material, Miami Vice in HD would look superb. It would take a great deal of doing to bring this about, a hard task to pull off. Though I suspect again the 'things we want' are for financial & other contractual reasons again just out of our reach. All part of a World we want, but one we are not likely to see.
