    Brilliant, thanks for the tips Mikey. I caught my PB dropshotting on the canal that time! 2.8lbs Perch. Will be looking for Zander soon so this has fallen perfect. Cheers.

    That's nice size fish. Lots of fun. Sometimes even if the fish aren't biting, I just enjoy being out there. Thanks for sharing. (from Louisiana, USA)

      Here in Louisiana (USA) we catch catfish at night. Are the Zander good eating?

      Hi believer72,yes apparently they are good to eat,a bit like pike but less bony or muddy tasting. I personally have never met someone who has eaten one though as in the U.K. we tend to put everything back. To us it’s sport,not dinner.
