I have a pro ks degreaser with parts, its usually worth 6-7 keys. Should i sell it for 20-30 bucks?
is there a way to transfer steam profits into actual cash or is that like not a thing.
Please make follow up video
I always thought the scm was trash because keys were so much more compared to marketplace. but I kinda like the way u do it. kinda hitting myself in the head for not thinking of doing this. I'm gunna start asap. luckily I got a decent sized backpack so I might try and get my sales out from marketplace and put them on scm to make some money and start flipping. but u gotta buy unusual etc to make huge profits. thanks for the advice tho 😀
I just notice I had a black rose

Thanks for the tips, you are right. If you see an opportunity to gain more money, be smart and make decisions. Whoever never takes any risks won't ever win anything.
Happy 2 help! Just released a follow-up walk-through. Good quote & the more knowledge you gain the more you lower risk and increase reward :)
Hello swipez, fancy seeing you here

I see that video length.
MarGon lol
ahaa
Check out the follow-up video length ;P
Lmao I was listening and the way he keeps repeating, you know he needs the dough. Not judging, i might do the same
Ya he’s hella stretching the viedeo length by saying the same thing
The secret's out. Oof
for me I spend 135 dollars in steam and currently net of 1340 USD
how the fuck do people even pull this off
Carbine watch the vid lol
Nice, you x10’d your initial pay-in!
A lil tip of profit, is when you buying strange, some gun has strange parts and people just sell it as worth a normal strange
ive started gotten into trading and doing my first "buy and sell" for an item was pretty rushing. i made 6 keys profit, which may not seem much but felt awesome to make $15 free.
Awesome, congrats!
I've been doing this but not intentionally right now I have 26 euro and I haven't spent a cent just sold items I won from raffles or just from trading items I don't want anymore. For sure I'm actually going to do this because trading has been pretty boring for me and now you've opened my eyes to so many possibilities which is really cool. Thank you very much :D
it's basically like having a trade bot but without the hassle of having to manage a bot account
One time I bought a strange genuine Anger for the price of a regular genuine anger, needless to say I was stoked, and made more than a key of profit :D
This dude sounds like the ‘I’m here in my garage’ guy

U mean Tai Lopez? And honestly he kinda doesn't.
how u can buy lower when there are "requests to buy" with only cents under the normal price ??? if lets say a weapon cost 50 bucks there are dozen of requests to buy for 49.50 bucks, so u will never get one for like 30 bucks cuz it will get autmatically sold for the reqest ...
just dont target those items, that situation isnt common, just find other popular item to watch
U wouldnt want to go for selling something that can be bunched with a commodity like a spelled regular item (eg a festivized huntman) since people probably won’t look for that in the steam market.
More unique, lower quantity items like unu hats or skins will be seen more likely in the market
HAHAHA HE SHOWED THE CRATES FROM THE CRATE DEPRESSION LMFAO
I mean he had crates in his inventory because they're cheap and just incase the price goes up maybe it's worth it then
I’ve seen a lot of deals recently like an unusual field tested halloween medi gun for $20.70 that now sales for $63. I should probably start participating in this myself.
Even since this video got out the market started to be flooded with fake spelled items and scammers. Thanks, Squirrel.
every damn time :)
Now this is the Squ1rrelly i know, this was legit fire man please more kind of this trading videos, tips etc great work keep it up!
Thank you for the video squirelly, will definitely start looking at the market more. Keep up the good work man
The thing is that im too broke. I could try selling my nuts n bolts unusual but a bunch of people are already selling it, and the price starts at $22
I know you probably don’t care anymore because this comment was posted over a year ago, but I would sell that to build up some money. Then buy more uncommon none unusual items that you can make a profit out of.
@@corenzz i did, i slowly made profit
and now im selling a disco beat down one for 18 keys :)
xXBBB2003Xx That’s awesome! Good job my man. Keep the grind up!
I buy *_everything_* off the steam community market
use marketplace.tf , its much cheaper
The amount of times he says free money makes it sound like a get rich quick scheme
Thanks. I needed this
You sound like one of those online stock trading scams lmao
but no
Nice u make this video now cause till now if lost ( since i am new to trading ) almost 50 Euro on the SCM bud still goad to know what to do next
helped a lot bro, been a silent sub for a while now, love your content, plus went from 150 euros to 500 in 3 weeks so thank you very much, too bad steam doenst let us cashout... still great vid
Happy to help, congrats! :D
Great vid, much love from sweden
nice pfp
When i think about scm i think about taxes
i got a strange australium gold snow sleeves for $2.50 sold it for 4.10 and guess what SOMEONE BOUGHT IT HELL YEA
Awesome, congrats! :D
A follow up vid on good SCM deals would be nice if you could do that. I use the SCM pretty often but usually run into the problem of never knowing how/when to find a good deal and the problem of selling where you have an item listed for weeks or months but it never selling no matter what I try. Some pointers like that in a future vid would be appreciated! Great content man!
Recap: ”use the market.” lot of words for nothing
I will start with 0,21€ and I will come with a final result. Wish me good luck!

I used to do steam market trading, you’ve inspired me to start again :)
I listened to some guy repeating the same thing over and over again.
Worth mentioning that on 99.9% of all items you'll be competing against automated SiH accounts that are happy to buy for $100 and sell for $115.01=$15 fee to Valve and they pocket $0.01 profit.
Thats why you never see less than 15% difference from buy-orders and listed/selling items and Valve not following their own ToS -they sell each item several times.
Id recommend trading across several sites just follow 1 golden rule: All trades should be profitable
a little while back I bought an Item that was a big chief unusual with the blizzardy storm effect for like 30 bucks and it had a really cool name they named it this ''May this keep you warm for many moons' and I thought it was sick and I have had it in my inventory when I looked at it today and I didn't see it had a description and it said this, ''Those were the last words of my father. I shall wear this proud for I am his son''
and now I feel really bad for buying it as I should just give him it back but I don't know his steam name.
You can. Install a chrome extension called 'steam inventory helper' you will be able to identify who you bought that unusual from
@@martinlim5510 ok thanks
This just isn't worth it. You could make the equivalent of 662 keys a month working full time at minimum wage. More than double that if you had a better paying job.
For little kids, this is might be ok but for those who are able to work, this is a massive waste of time. You'd be wasting a ton of time (and opportunity to earn decent money) to earn some pennies doing this.
@@jellybelly111 isn't it just about fun?no one actually pays their bills with the help of tf2 trading. It's more of a hobbie than money
(ik it's a year comment but still wanted to say it to anyone getting disapointed seeing this)
Awesome video dude! This channel should have wayyyyyy more subs!
Nice scattergun. I had a ks festivized one
Thank you for the tips now I don't need a stupid glitch to get unusuals!
bruh
Squirrelly did you see the clip on b4nny's new video of your team beating his? I want to see the clip of that from your perspective on one of your vids in the future (if possible)
I would be interested in a follow-up video if you're down to make one! This sounds really great, thank you for sharing! :D
I love it dude! I have put $5 into steam and I cant put anymore into it so i am going to try your method!
@omega lol Not so great now... I bought keys cuase I wanted to trade. but now I got 74 cents of profit. lol. I need more capital to make more money.
@omega lol on the market... I want to work up to $50 so I can get a game I want.

I want to make sure my computer can run it first tho XD
I have been waiting for the price to drop ever since I started playing tf2, but it finally did and I was able to buy a strange killstreak Halloween fire phlogistinator. I will always cherish this thing more than any unusual.
Edit: Rip mate all my stuff was stolen a few weeks ago. I shall cherish it in memory now.
damn, that sucks
How did that happen, though?
@@ashez002 Damn a reply.
Uhh if I remember correctly--I was awake for like thirty hours and logged into the website that I trade with bots but I put a comma instead of a period so it lead me to a similar looking website that steal information.
I have everything back now, but it sucked man.
great videos
To me i just dont think its worth the time . Yeah you can make some profit over time, but was it worth the hassle ?
Plus its steam money, you cant even get it out of steam
Theres lots of way to get it out of steam for real $ ;) the trick is getting the best ratio of steam $ to IRL $
Road to 10k been here before 1,000,000
How do I sell my 6 winter cosmetic cases when they are listed for $0.03 but only give me $0.01
Any info on how to actually find these items on the scm? This whole video is just about how great the scm is, but you don't actually say anything about how to use it properly. Love you squirrelly, but a super vague 10 minute video isn't helping anybody
Lol it's easy, don't put him down literally just type war paint and have high price first.
bl u ????
Have you never used scm?
bl u I have, I just don’t understand what you said
Search for "war paint under tf2 items, the icon that says price. Click that
Its funny how to say 1000 dollars Is easy to get while my parents struggle to get that much for an hearing aid

@@Shotdirrect what do you mean?
I hated the community market because everyone was trying to scam, keys more priced than valve prices, etc, but one day I started sell things and then buying etc, noticed those prices scammers are just the first line, then they're all normal people with good prices and the ones who pays, I've been like 5 months doing this?, And only bought a key and mvm tour ticket now I have 323 thousand Chilean pesos, which are like 280 dollars or so which is good, I bought unusual hats, games, etc
Nice work, congrats!
@@SQU1RRELLYTF2 thx man, cheers you too ♥️
I watched that crit sticky fly towards that medic after you shot it. I felt my stomach drop as soon as it moved again.
Saying Gamers till Squirrely notices G A M E R S
I bought a strange with a domination part for no extra money than one without the part
People usually don't pay for parts, sorry to inform you :/
Sometimes they pay more when trading, make some ref, get a key, sell it on the market. Be flexible.
If you enjoy this I highly suggest you learn to trade stocks. It's super fun and I make lots of money doing it
Thanks and I agree, I've been doing a decent amount of stock market trading/investing and enjoy it. Considering making a separate YT channel for it haha
1:00 - 1:15
and here’s a little clip from our sponsor for this video RAID SHADOW LEGENDS
The SCM is criminally underrated, the amount of hidden gem unusuals or spells or even just skins is amazing. Im actually glad to a point that it is underused so I still have a chance to clap those deals
big brain move is to spend all that money on keys in pure and inflate the price of keys
ez
It would actually deflate the price, more keys off of the market. Dont woooosh me.
@@joshuaphillips8040 joke is you'd sell them at a later date
@@moony5308 dont woooosh me so i cam woooosh myself lol
I buy cheap unusuals that are unpriced and sell them for a profit on the Steam Market
I bought an unusual condor cap for 20 bucks and reselled it for 170
That's just bad
Quick tip if u don’t want to sell your item
Finish your contract for war paints
Trade it up to a civilian grade stat clock sell it of the steam market
Then buy more war paints of the market trade it to a civilian grade stat clock
Keep repeating it then you will have free play money
I just craft strange contract freelance grade paints ($8.5) and sell them for like 11 or 12 dollars so I’m making like $3.5 in profit
SCM was how I, no joke, bought a strange KS Headless Headtaker (UHHHH) for $20
Was just one of those items there wasn't any eyes on and I put a buy order because I actually wanted one
It's now worth ~$154, and only one seller asking for several thousand on it. I DID swap out the KS for a specialized when the second universal kit wave hit, but that still only totaled to $70 on this one item that's at least doubled in value
Now there's a lot of eyes on strange UHHHHs... but still. SCM is a decent place to look around for things because you're never quite sure if people are actually paying attention to it or not
Can't say you'll actually have luck with high tiered items though. Unless you have a few hundred to play with, I often find most people who just unboxed an unusual asking for too much on it
Do invest in limited releases though. I picked up some universal kits and sold them triple about a year later. I bought a screaming tiger bumper car for way too much, and what I wanted to trade for it, a spectral swirl bumper car, is still worth a fair amount of money. Don't be afraid of long term investments.
idk squirrelly. free money is still money. community market is so unreliable. you never know if you'll sell your item for your listed price, it may take years or even never happen. you have to be so lucky. with backpack.tf you got more grip on the price, which is why the profits there are lower but its more like consistant you know. community market is a real gamble, and sounds like you got lucky :( I don't know if it will be so easy for other people as you make it sound
Funny thing I always tell people that say they have too much trouble selling their unusual weapons and skins that they can always try to use the steam community market to sell them as long as they list it for the amount they desire for the item it's likely to be sold in relatively good amount of time. Also made quite a few nice snipes and sales myself over the many years that I've been on steam. Despite this there are still people too afraid to bother getting into the skin market despite all the profit that there is to be earned on it. The first example that comes to mind if I gotta tell a story is picking up 2 cheap FT hot strange stabbed to hell knife kept one and the other basically had buyers adding me within hours willing to pay 285-300 keys for them and ofc sold one of them as soon as it became tradeable.
One time I wanted to get something for my girlfriend in real life so I decided to sell a few items on marketplace.tf. Got $30+ and got her shit at victorious secret. Worth it. I fuckn love TF2.
i got my account hacked and lost 500 bucks a while ago. steam support are useless
Please do a more in-depth video
I bought a 1 of 1 wicked wood bottle cap off the steam market for 80 bucks
Tbh ,I think that using the in-game store to buy keys , then -after waiting for the trade-ability - heading to backpack.tf and see some awesome deals is bettet
but dosent items have a 7 day no trade/sell thing?
before watching the video I bought a shooters tin topi peace sign for just 15,5€ and after watching I might sit around the market for a bit longer c:
You are the Best man. Now i can buy an unusual
If you look through the steam market you can make insane profit if you are patient
09:56 Squirelly killed very loud squirell noises lol
I started with ~15€, now I'm at +90€, in 9 months I made like 75€
I've never been great in trades (and I don't like it in general) but by using the steam market it's 10x easier and safer
I'd try to make enough profit to buy a valve index and have some extra money left after, and then I'd resell the valve index unused and unopened at a much cheaper price than I got it so that I would make instant real profit, and then the pc upgrades would basically literally pay for themselves and other stuff
i have a ton of cases that at the least 1000 in 24 hours some im listing all of it
I have a question:
If my primary weapon is specialized killstreak, and my melee weapon is professional killstreak, and I get 10 kills on my primary and then switch to my melee, will the professional effect be visible? Or only if I score those kills with the melee?
yes, it will be visible regardless of what weapon you got the kills with :)
@@jaye3 Thank you very much
imagine killstreaks as being “saved” on your character until you die
so no matter if you get 10, 20 or 100 kills on a single weapon, they will be visible on all killstreak weapons :)
Currently trying this method, but it is rough for me, still getting used to all this. Hope i get the hang of it soon
me who cant even sell an item for one cent more
HI! Thanks SQU!RRELLY for your tips. I just bought a Strange Pumpkin bombs rocket launcher (with 8 keys parts) and strange spelled market gardener (2.5 keys parts) for just 5$!!!

It's like flipping houses but with virtual items
ik this is a serious video but im paying attention to the siren in the background like WEEEEEEEWOOOOOOO
i got a profit and i had no idea until i sold them on steam market while i bought them on tf.market. i gained $18
Uhh so basically shark on the steam market but without having to even talk with them good shit
Imma look into doing this after I get my 2080 Super, might be a quick way to get some tf dough
I'm not planning to buy expensive unusuals shown in the video but can this work with like a cheaper item as well?
yes but it's going to be a lot harder
You can use vpn and change your country with the least tax.
Buying a unusual scattergun for 20 dollar holy shit
i didnt understand how i can start am i suppose to wait ti'll someone gets desperate and sells somethin for nothing and wait ti'll it gets big and sell it to make profit ?? bc if it is then to be honest that sounds smart

SCM is good sometimes, i spent about one key on random stuff, and sold them on the steam market, now I have 2 keys.
Thanks for this. I sold a 12 keys Iron Bomber for 15 keys on the market. Amazing strat. Now it won't take me 6.9 years to get a golden pan.
So, you could help me then, i'm selling my orbiting frames patriot's peak, its the third one listed on the market, i just wanna get rid of it
You dirty stickyspammer.
My brother has played since 2010. So he's inventory was full of useless crates, and when the 100% unusual rate bug came, he sold like 90 82# Mann.co crates and 84 or whatever the numbers were. He's steam balance rised from 3.81€ to like 840€ by just selling crates that he got for free by playing.
No, you DO need money to make money. You need to buy ref and keys to start making good trades. So yes, you DO need startup money.
