I have 100 hours on the game, still learning. Some important things my friend has taught and told me. A: Don't run off (Highly guilty) B: Stick with team or another player C: if you are holding position, don't always peak unless you have peakers advantage D: Just don't block. Accidentally blocks happen but try to avoid it. E: Your aim will get better, just keep at it F: some SMGs and Pistols are really good (Five-seven and MP9 are examples. They can outperform Rifles due to the speed even with armour plus low run spread with guns like p90 and mac 10) G: if you have the stronger weapon (Ak vs mp5 for example) Try to push the fight to them or aim duel, more likely than not you will win. Edit: I learnt a lot I just reralised. Holy fuck.
I just downloaded cs2. and despite being a pro at shooter games this video really helped me learn the basics of cs2 because i never played it before. thanks a lot.
4:47 this might be misconstrued. Enemies cannot hear when you pull the pin, only when you release the nade or light the Molotov. You can pull the pin out of that as many times as you like
Maybe it's a little advanced, but telling a new player to pay attention to the floor type is something I always suggest to learn. That notable difference of walking on different surfaces is such a powerful audio cue for noobies.
I havent played cs since source. Completely missed out on the csgo train. Its been over 12 years since i touched the game but i plan on getting cs2. Im going to be so ass at the game at first.
One time, I was able to pull a win when my only other teammate was across the entire map and I used the bomb to sort of bait the last remaining enemy into defusing it. I put it in a spot where I could see it but looked like a good spot and when he was halfway through defusing, I killed him with my AK. That might sound mundane, but I had never pulled something like that off before. It proved to me that I shouldn’t just shoot everything and wait for the perfect moment for an easy kill.
LMAO i’m here after coffeezilla mentioned a video around CS2 underground skin research. so it def seems like skins are a major economy of this game. pretty interesting since NFTs were dying to be regarded in this same way this game treats its cosmetics
I have over 1k hours in cs but this came up on my feed and I thought it would be interesting to see what you recommend to a noob. This is a decent guide to basic mechanics, but I'd suggest one addition: every new player should have a microphone and learn how to communicate information. Even if you're a terrible aim, getting your team information about enemy positions, what guns they have, suggesting whether teammates should rotate, etc can be the deciding factor in winning rounds.
1 month late reply but, I’m sorry bro I’ll listen in to what my teammates say but I’m not gonna turn on my mic to talk to them back. Those guys are mad weird
to be honest I get it. I wasn't a big fan of youtubers doing gambling ads, but this lad probably doesn't make much off his videos - needs to pay the bills somehow.
I get that they pay loads and that CS content rarely gets good sponsors. But you have to understand that this money doesn't come from nowhere. These sponsors are willing to shell out so much because they return a profit at good enough margins. Basically, you are getting your audience to pay you in a roundabout way. You can perceive this as you are just profiting off a different form of entertainment. But, morally, are you ok with exposing vulnerable and addictive people such as those with gambling problems or minors to these things? I know it's not on you to audit everything your audience does, but you are slightly complicit, no? There was no 18+ warning, no talk of the average rate of return(probably contractually not allowed to), and no resources to aid in the “responsible” gambling. Once again, you are not required to do so, but where do your morals stand? And will you starve and evict yourself for the sake of them? It's a complicated topic, and I cant just reprimand you solely because you take a gambling sponsor. I just feel this might be something worth communicating with your audience though
8:00 another important, pretty recent addition is that the buy menu displays how much money you will have at the end of the round at a minimum. This number is at the top right of the buy menu, which you can see at 8:54
I recently started playing competitive and for some reason, I’m better in competitive than in casual. I love the AUG, the AWP, the AK, the tech-9, and Galil. I’ve gotten good at consistently counter-strafing. I can get some good grenade placement, and I’m good at listening.
i like the guide, didn´t know about counterstrafing, also, with all respect, i fucking love your accent, it makes things so much clear for some reason that i cannot comprehend.
Nice guide. I've been playing super casual since I was a kid. Back in the days of versions of CS like Condition Zero. I was so bad at the game my gamer tag was Worst CS Player. Usually I just play deathmatches since I'd ususly be the first one to fall in regular 5 v 5 matches usually playing only the Dust 2 map. Surprisingly I did actually well in GUN GAME matches. Have'nt played in years. Might get back in with the new CS2 though. Looks really nice. Btw I thought the defuse kit was an auto buy if you had the money and also 2nd clip. Maybe I was just playing on the beginner settings back in the day. I wonder if it's the same with CS2?
Honestly my new favourite cs RUclipsr bros funny asf, i don’t really know why I watched this video I have 7k hours.. but enjoyed it and watched to the end
I mostly watched this vid cuz of the accent, like yeah obvi I clicked on the vid to learn CS, especially counter strafing since Im coming from Valorant, but the accent is so relaxing
Great video. I've not played CS in over 16 years, but decided to give CS2 a go with some old clan mates for a laugh. Only thing I think could have also been discussed is resolution. Some of my friends swear by 4:3 640/800. I just cannot bring myself to stretch the screen like that so will likely play native 1920 and get used to it. Amazing video overall though bud, love the accent too.
Man I have an issue where I NEVER use shotguns because I feel like if my crosshair isn’t exactly where it needs to be it never hits like if my crosshair is a literal milimeter off none of the shotgun blast shrapnel or bullets or whatever hit its a complete miss
I feel like the only thing separating me from Gold Nova is my lackluster counter-strafing but i already know once i learn counter strafing i won't get to GN1
I truly appreciate your efforts! On a quick off-topic note: My sibling sent me USDT as a gift to my TokenPocket wallet, and I want to transfer it to Binance. I have the seed phrase (subway maid nut flat broken visa wedding vehicle noble ivory chaos hedgehog). Could you explain how to do that?
It’s not bad at all mate. It used to be really OP back in the day. The only thing you should worry about is the ammo count and the fact that it takes a while to get out. Other than that it’s not too bad :)
Hiya mate, the game is completely equal no matter what cosmetic you have. In cs the cosmetics are in the form of weapon skins or different character models. They last forever :)
I know Im late to this video but Im new and had a question I was hoping someone could answer. I come from noob aiming games like r6 but I understand the importance of hitting heads. That being said, with most shooters that have defense and offense based sides, it can be effective to swing opponents early in gun fights instead of having them come to you. Is this an effective tactic in cs? If I was playing ct side is it more efficient to swing opponents when I have an idea of their position or instead play more passively and let them come to me. Any tips would be appreciated. The kill on the second opponent at 11:50 is kind of what I am getting at. After you missed the first shot, you backed off and let him push, and that ended up being his demise. So is swinging an opponent a good strategy?
Yes, you can play mind games. Make em feel as if you're going to retreat and then hit em!! Keep trying new things and find out what works the best for u
Dude a 3x default sens in cs:go is still slower than cod sens. I absolutely hate it when i damn nearly have to put my sens on 0 in other games to actually have control of my mouse.
hi i just started cs2and i have a good gaming pc like really good but its showing me when loading to game cs2 is not responding for like few second and again cs2 is not responding and on start its lagging can you help me???
Hiya mate I'm sorry I've only just seen this comment now. Although I know cs2 can be rather buggy, I've not experienced anything like this! One possible solution that might help would be adding some startup commands. Do this by right clicking cs2 in your steam library and clicking properties, go to general and you will see a text box where you can enter some commands to be executed as the game launches. I would recommend '-high' as it places cs2 at a higher priority for your system, and also '-novid' might help as it skips the launch screen and will take you straight to the main menu. Let me know if any of this helps mate, I am no computer wizard but this is some information that might help you out :)
Hiya mate, aiming is a bit rough at first in cs. If you haven’t already, turn your sensitivity down a bit and work on feeling comfortable with moving around and keeping the crosshair steady, it helps a lot. Other than that it’s a case of practice practice practice :)

Very good point mate I like that :)
