I've just sold this camera today. I buy this camera for $61. I sold this camera at $86; the newest is still $141. I'm very curious why so many buyers suddenly buy this camera. the buyer told me that the old pocket cameras with pop colors were high trended and hunted by K-popers fans. the reason because the idol wearing a color pocket camera. not only Nikon. another brand too. I know sounds silly to me, but it's true. I don't know in another country.

Digicams are also in trend again because of Tiktok.

Maybe point the cameras at a human being every once in a while, eh? And shoot at a higher frame rate.

and probably better to render the video in 4k, 1080p compression makes every image look somehow „bad“ and a lot of details lost.

@@harrison00xXx Isn't it obvious which camera is better, even from the 1080p footage?! There's an ENORMOUS gap between the two.
The iPhone not only has a larger sensor (34.5 vs. 28.5 sq-mm) but a much wider aperture (F/1.6 vs. F/3.3) that lets in over 4X more light.
Plus, smartphones are all about computational photography with zero shutter lag (ZSL) HDR.
Comparing these two cameras is like comparing an old Buick with a Ferrari.

@@Sam-K ok, if you think so.
All i can compare to my iPhone 15 is:
      - my old 12 Mini, notable worse in details (@~25mm/1x)
      - Sony point and shoots from 2004, 2005 and 2014. The 2004/2005 models with 1/1,8“ CCD with 5.1 and 7.2 MP are „bad“, but still good enough.
The 2014 model (W830) with 1/2,3“ 20MP CCD has much more details, especially with enough light and can definitely keep up with iPhone 15, probably „only“ as good at 26mm, but anything above 50mm the tiny and old point and shoot wins. Dedicated tele cameras (3-5x) change the thing tho drastically for around 50-80mm shots

@@harrison00xXx Base iPhone 15 doesn't have a dedicated telephoto camera so you're basically comparing digital zoom with optical zoom.
Obviously, a dedicated point-and-shoot camera is going to smoke the 26mm main camera on the iPhone at 50mm equivalent focal length.
The image will lack detail simply because of digital cropping, but that's a bit unfair to the iPhone, don't you think?!

@@Sam-K unfair or not… i prefer my 2014 point and shoot over the iPhone as long i need 50mm+, otherwise the iPhone is also fine for a snapshot
