    Google Keep is my goto for lists too. We make the journey part of the trip, stopping to visit or see things. We also stay clear of cities when we can. Great tips.

      We do the same. We like to stop to see things along the way. That's just part of the journey. Have a great week. 😊

      We haven’t started traveling yet and still in the process of trying to figure out whether we want to go fifth wheel or Class A. But love your videos. We’re both in our 60s and looking forward to traveling and seeing this great big country. Thanks for all the time you put into your videos.

      @user-uh2zh9hh1l You are going to love traveling in an RV. Deciding on the right rig is a hard decision. Neither one of us are very good at backing up, So we ended up with a motor home. For us it's now the only way to travel. We are both in our sixties as well. Thanks so much for joining us and we hope we are able to meet up someday on the road. And thank you for your encouraging words. 😊

    Hey guys realized we had missed this one! So much good advice and tips in this whole video. Really enjoyed even though several things we already do you added so much more stuff we wouldnt have thought of or needed to be reminded about. You are correct on all the things to avoid and we try that. The rule of 3 is so different from each person but yes I try to make sure we only have a 3 to 4 hour day at the most of drive day and funny I didnt realize I had that rule but yes I usually have us only drive 2 days in a row and then we stay stay 2 or 3 nights mainly because its nice. Ron and I cant wait to one day not have an exact plan and maybe have a few surprises but for now we are planned! Food prep was a great tip nobody can think when hungry! I have to be Ron's speed monitor now I can remind him that you reminded me! Many things have gotten us off course ones it was our slide and once it was our TPMS that worried us! Sometimes we just have to remind each other to relax! Great video thanks for sharing you share tips in a very nice smooth way!

      No worries. The struggle is real when it comes to keeping up on videos. We have so many channels that we live to watch. Sometimes, getting to them all is just hard. It sounds like we do a lot of the same things on travel day. That will work great when we meet up! 😉 Have a great week.

    Yep avoid big cities, yep you will forget something, we do like having a picnic at a rest stop. That is a good rule, the rule of 3 I think I'll write that down. Thank you for sharing.

    I hated when my GPS took me to Atlanta the most. It was horrible. Took near two hours to get out that mess to get to Florida. Never again. I try to avoid Chicago when i travel to the west now.

    • @RVAmerica
      @RVAmerica  7 месяцев назад

      Atlanta is the worst to drive through. We avoid it even if it adds miles to our trip. Chicago is pretty bad, too. We just avoid big cities in general. Hope all is going well with you. Thanks for watching. 😊
