- Davy Jones Nightmare is a small pirate themed darkride with a simple story and a famous character from the Disney movies Pirates of the Caribbean. Despite being a small ride it contains plenty of memorable scenes and effects. This is my first realistic darkride with a footprint that could easily stand on a fun fair. Normally my rides are bigger and more over the top but I hope the experience will be just as good. Let me know!
This is great. I know dealing with the effect triggers can be a pain, so I'm glad you made it all work.
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
It's so nice to see you still creating in PlanCo! I really enjoyed both the onride & offride of Davy Jones Nightmare! Very fun & creative! ☮& ♥~ Smiling🙂
Thank you! It's nice to be back :)
The goat is back!!!!
TRICKY!!! Good to see you playing again :D. Great job on the triggers and nice audio editing. Cheers! 🏴☠🏴☠
Thanks Coastercad!
Another fun creation, Tricky. Gotta ask though: why so sparse on props for most of it, especially the beginning climb? For what you made, it makes for a great dark ride, though with all of the assets you have available, I would have thought fully decking (all pun intended) the place out in lots themed props would have been at the top of the list instead of mostly barren walls. Also, why is there a little red door at the end of the hallway before you enter the first main room? Was something supposed to jump out for a scare effect?
Hey Phaota! Thank you for you comment and honest feedback. I started on this ride 2 years ago on my old pc, but that was so slow I couldn't really continue finishing it. Now I have a new pc I want to build some bigger creations again but I wanted to finish this one first. I kinda rushed it and didn't really have a lot of ideas to put in those small hallways. I also wanted to keep it realistically small, but most props are too big to put in without it sticking out on the other side of the walls. That's why I focused more on the main scenes during the ride. My next project should be a bit more exciting than this one so I hope you'll stick around :)
@@TrickyPlaysGames I see. Thanks for the info. Makes sense. Looking forward to future projects with PC.
