LOYALISTA (PREMIERE NIGHT) ||

"Inside Showbiz with Aster Amoyo" recently attended the red carpet premiere of the movie, "Loyalista (The Untold Story of Imelda Papin)" at the SM Megamall. Produced by Queenstar Film Production, the movie is about the life story of the original Jukebox Queen of the Philippines---from her humble beginnings to the days when she became a popular songstress until the time when she left her singing career just to live with the Marcoses when they were exiled in Hawaii from 1986-1989. La Papin was in high spirits that evening. She thanked all her fans who trooped to SM Megamall just to support the movie. Claudine Barretto, who plays the Jukebox Queen in the potboiler was also present along with Alice Dixson who plays former First Lady Imelda Marcos, ER Ejercito who plays the late President Ferdinand Marcos, Sr. and Gary Estrada who plays Bong Carreon. All of them expressed their gratitude for being part of the project and hoped that the movie-going public will support their offering. Imelda's daughter Maffi and the film's director Gabby Ramos assured the public that everyone will enjoy watching "Loyalista (The Untold Story of Imelda Papin)" especially with the lessons they'll learn from the life story of the legendary songstress.
