Michelle Dee: It's not hard to represent the Philippines ||

"Inside Showbiz with Aster Amoyo" had the privilege of attending the recent event sponsored by the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) to honor Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Marquez Dee at the East Ocean Place Restaurant in Paranaque City. FFCCCII Vice President Mr. Jeffrey Ng gave the opening remarks where he cited the reasons why they chose Michelle to represent the Filipino-Chinese community: first, she has ethnic Chinese roots and is the Goodwill Ambassador of the Autism Society Philippines and Tourism Ambassador of the Philippines, definitely two noble roles which further make her advocacies shine. FFCCCII President Dr. Cecilio Pedro presented the Plaque of Appreciation to Michelle in recognition of her achievements as Ms. Universe Philippines 2023 and for representing the country with pride in the 72nd Miss Universe in El Salvador. In her speech, Michelle was both grateful and proud to represent the Chinese-Filipino (or Chinoy) group and is excited with the work they will do in the coming days. She expressed pride of her Chinese roots and said that their family always aim to serve and make the Philippines proud. She averred that she is thankful to share her contribution through beauty pageantry. To Michelle, congratulations!
