  • Thoom is a arabic garlic sauce ,a magical sauce ,thick creamy with flavour of garlic served in middle east with shawarma and broasted..
    Ingredients:
    4 garlic cloves
    juice of 1 lemon (1 tbsp)
    salt to taste
    2 whole egg and 1 egg white or use only 3 egg whites
    1 1/2 cup vegetable oil

    Guys, i tried this today... Honestly I've been trying to make this but everytime the oil broke out of the emulsification.... These steps are perfect... And the thoum tastes as good as restaurant.

    This is THE most simple recipe for those who don't have the blender where they can slowly drip the oil as it blends. This is the second time that I made this and it's perfect. I don't have to worry about the egg yolk. I use the bullet so I can't slowly drip the oil like all other recipes. Thank you for showing this method.

    So i just found that if the sauce has turned watery, we should store it in fridge for 3 hours and blend it again. It will be stiff.

    I make its it's real look like arbic but I add 3 agges ,it's real test of arbic thoom but i add little more salt and it's little salti now what I will do

      you need to keep the eggs in fridge for 30 minutes then use it..maybe yellow colour may be due to your egg yolk and oil

      Ohh...i used sunflower oil.you can use any vegetable oil ...maybe u need to add little more oil to get required consistency..it varies on different oil...one more tip use egg kept in fridge...I wish it turn out well next time

      use flavourless oil... try to use egg whites only..you can add eggs but you will get yellowish colour.

      Add cool packet milk with oil milk which is not heated. Coolest milk and oil ratio is 1:2 respectively. Add little bit of vineger salt and sugar for taste. That turns out amazing. But all you've to use is unheated coolest packet milk

    Sorry, but with yolks its mayonnaise. Sauce toum only with garlic, oil, lemon juice , salt. Sometime you can using eggs white. Bess!

      May be you need more oil amd you can keep the egg in fridge and then use
