If I take over a small ship like a Raccoon and then transfer back into my original home ship, sending the new ship away, my crew shrinks to the size of the stolen ship’s maximum crew. Anyone else is magically sent to Akila City or some other location, and I have to land at a starport like New Atlantis to reassign them to my ship. I have fun taking over pirate ships and selling them, but it’s kind of annoying when my crew members keep disappearing! LOL
Hey!!! Simeon Bankowski is AWESOME for accompanying you on any fight/base attack; he is OBSESSED with GRENADE THROWING hahaha!! Simeon is also funny, snarky and loves conflict!! Very interesting backstory on him too!
I don't employ Omari because of the shield bug. His perk messes with the shield values. Sometimes it shows a larger value than it should and sometimes less. But Vasco's shield perk always works fine and is applied correctly. I haven't tried dismissing Vasco and just rolling with Omari. Because I don't want to lose Vasco's Fusion perk. Other than that your recommended crew is pretty much what I have as well.
This is a great video, took me a long time to learn this, wish I had a video like this when I started, because they didn't do a great job on explaining how stuff works. I had to send my buddy Vasco back to the lodge after this patch, whenever I move from place to place he just walks away from the ship and heads towards the first spot I landed. Hopefully they fix that and the random ship landing issues the patch caused.
Too bad the whole perk system is screwed up. In particular, I have to constantly reset my Shield Multiplier and my Target Lock Time because Starfield doesn't apply perks properly and in some cases actually reduces the shields to less than their base value. At least I can access the console...
It's really funny in NG I have Sam Coe on my ship but his daughter stays at the lodge for some reason which works for me, but Sam still thinks she's on the ship, good ole game logic :) .
Yeah I truly wish they had a crew with equal stats that wasn't so judgemental. While I usually play a good guy in the game, it's ridiculous when you accidentally do something and they all freak on you. I was with Sam Coe the other day and I killed one of those robots that kill the workers because of their work metrics and because it didn't go hostile yet, Sam stopped following me and was all pissed off.

If you're on PC - I recommend the Community Patch - supposedly that has been addressed there.

I wish I knew how valuable Barrett is. I ended up going through his back story and he ended up getting killed.
It's a shame that Constellation members have more knowledge about and experience with ships than so called specialists.
