A very exciting day across the 7 games! Lady A brought her 'A' game today and her road trip brainstorming session to create the puzzle certainly was a good one! Leave your results below and let's talk about them!

I took a nap when I got home late from work, just so I could watch this tonight. 5 am will come way too early, but it was worth it!!
    Excellent Bingo.Bongo on Strands!!
Nice job on Connection's! You named more correctly than I did. Lol! It was an animal themed day!
Wow, 3 of the mattresses were in the top row!!
No Weird Al. I think he's retired from my puzzles.
I learned about Strawberry Moon from a novel by John Grisham. A strawberry moon is the first full moon in June. A blood moon deals with lunar eclipse and the moon's red appearance.
Well done in deductive reasoning! We have had a lot of dog stuff, so I thought I'd throw in some cat stuff.
One hint to solving was if you pick the four colors it is a rainbow of shame. So put one in each category and it could help.
I enjoyed your solve very much. It reminded me of my solve of Ellen's yesterday.

NYT puzzle's ... ehh I solved them, nothing cool and nothing bad.
For the sport's connection we have the state schools and then the tech schools So like University of Texas but then also Texas Tech.
You were right in just naming the states.
And apparently I've been playing a pirate ZORSE game.
And then there is just LadyA. Got me with the moons!
    I think I solved at 8 or 9

I doubt I would have gotten light blue even with my black cat Floyd's help Never heard of Mackerel and Classic as cat coat patterns. As for mattresses, that might as well have been in a foreign language. I've only heard of Sealy of those.
I went to Google regarding the cat patterns. Specifically they are all tabby coat patterns. The ever common striped tabby is called mackerel. Never knew it had that name. I knew that all orange cats are tabbies. My cat is a black shorthair. Pretty much jet black in fact.

Tigerboy, all my cats have been or are tabbies. I'm particularly partial to Grey cats. Harry, the cat in the thumbnail is our second orange guy. He is something else. He loves strange foods like pasta sauerkrat, and avocado. He also likes to jump in the shower with you

Great job on Lady A's puzzle! Me, not so much. Here is what I started with:
    BERRIES: RASP, BLUE, GOOSE, HUCKLE
ASSOCIATED WITH MATTRESSES: SEALY, CASPER, CLASSIC ... FULL(?)
    MOONS: FULL, HARVEST, BLOOD, MACKEREL
Looks great, right? BERRIES: Yes! MATTRESSES: Not even One Away! AUGH! Tried a set of MOONS. One Away. Remembered PURPLE was a mattress. One Away. Tried another set of MOONS. One Away. OK, you got me.

Well done, Ellen! "Muddling" is a bartending technique that involves LIGHTLY crushing fruit, herbs, or spices just enough to release their flavors and aromas. A muddling tool looks kind of like a pestle (as in mortar & pestle.) For example, a Mojito is a popular drink made by MUDDLING mint sprigs with sugar and lime juice before adding rum and soda water.

🟨🟩🟩🟦Bodies of Water. I threw in MUDDLE not even really knowing what that means and threw it in there with predictable results
🟦🟨🟨🟨Sounds that a wolf or dog makes. I was thinking "Not a creature was *stirring*" in that famous Christmas poem, so it made sense to put STIR here. Nope
🟩🟩🟩🟩Ways to convey music (okay,, this one was pretty obvious)
🟨🟨🟨🟦Back to the dog. You know how a dog strains on a leash when it meets another dog? Well BARK, HOWL and SNARL are three other things it could do. Nope.
🟨🟨🟨🟨Down to my last guess, I took out STRAIN and put in BAY and it worked. I guess in my 57 years of existence I wasn't aware of that definition of bay. I was far more apt to put PLAY into this category but I used that up.
