Morghur should be on here. He’s seriously underrated: he’s got over 100% Missile resistance and around 70-80% Magic resistance with Regeneration. He’s unkillable and comes with a mortis engine effect that doesn’t have the “in melee” requirement so it is always active. Just stick him in melee and he’ll defend settlements all on his own by literally melting the enemy army around him. Oh and he passively turns killed enemies into free Chaos Spawns (which he also buffs to high heavens with his Lord effects).
After around a dozen attempts, I finally managed to survive as Imrik for longer than 30 rounds, and as soon as he's on his dragon and has a few of the unique ancient dragon buffs, he's basically unbeatable unless the enemy have a patriot air defense system. He's not even level 35 yet and he's got 160+ armor, 102 melee defence, 100 melee attack, etc. He kills Grimgor in like six hits. I love it.

I've seen Ku'gath absorb all the ammo from an empire army with cannons and guns then slowly walk into the frontline and kill 2000+ soldiers and Karl Franz all at the same time. The fat lump is by far the most obscenely overpowered thing to ever set foot (seat?) on the battlefield. He can even beat skarbrand 1v1 and have over 50% hp to spare... He can certainly kill Malus/Tz'arkan in a 1v1 too.
@@ScareyBuseyyou can spam ku’gath’s spells (stream of corruption) and the buboe of you have it, then maximise the use of ranged units like the starting plague drones with death’s heads, and kugath himself. You’ll outlast vampire counts if you kill their lords, they’ll lose their regen and crumble
For the people wondering why they didn't include skarbrand is because no amount of charge damage matters when he get shot off the board in the first five seconds lol, hes a large model so it makes him and all the other greater demons easy to kill
I played a campaign with a friend recently where I played tyrion and he played Malus. We both got all the best possible equipment and sent our lords at each other and Tyrion beat malus. I was honestly shocked. Malus even transformed into zarkan but I had the heart of averlorn so I had a full health bar regen too.
Kholek can wipe out numerous armies himself. Skarbrand is also crazy. Has this guy been living under a big rocky mountain? Oh wait that "big rocky mountain" was just kholek suneater.....
Pretty pants list. Putting the changeling at number 3 makes no sense. He switches into gimped versions of lords And no Kholek/Skarbrand/Kugath/Tyrion/Kairos place on the list? Lolno.
Unless the lord changed, the everchosen wasn’t a “twinky elf man” he was a human, father was a norscan and mother was from the empire, but possibly still a twink?
i dont think the changeling should be on this list, his strenght is changing into other lords but slightly worse then they are themselves and he cannot use the only lord you ranked above him so he is weaker then anyone on this list by a long shot imo. Skarbrand should probably be in his spot, he has the best ramping melee damage in the game, huge HP pool with plenty of ways to heal it, huge area attacks so he kills hordes of infantry with each swing and can potentially kill almost any lord in a couple of swings once he has ramped up, his mass is so high almost nothing can stop him so he can just keep charging over and over and focus the enemy ranged troops before they can output enough damage since nothing in melee can beat him if played correctly.
I rarely faced Malus and, after being wiped out once, i reloaded the battle and put my norscan axe foot skirmishers on him. They killed him without any major trouble, just a bit of kiting and micro management.
Sisters of Twilight with their dragon and something like the sword of Khaine is incrediblely op. Personally found it to be better than even Malus Darkblade as long as you use their AOE arrows instead of the single target And I mean when you use them as melee units rather than a ranged one
How is helman ghorst not here. He literally makes it so you can field like 20 armies at once due to how cheep zombies are. Also said zombies just refuse to fucking die, and it doesnt hurt that ghorst is really good in a brawl. God forbid you somehow get the sword of khaine on him, cause he aint dying then
My man, while this list isn’t completely wrong, Gor-Rok and Astragoth simply don’t belong on it. The follow lords all are better in basically every category. Skarbrand, Malakith, Kholek, Mazdamundi, Durthu, Kugath (shit faction but he’s a monster), Shalaxi, The other Dragon Siblings, Drazhoath the Ashen (powerful melee flying mount with a barrier and a better selection of spells?) Be’lakor, Tehenuin, Settra and Manfred Von Carstein. There’s a bunch of others who have arguments, but the ones above at full power are significantly stronger than astragoth or gor-rok and have good arguments for edging out quite a few of the others on this list too.
I might be a bit biased here but I would have liked to see Wurrzag on the list. He’s not good in melee and Greenskin spells aren’t the most diverse, but he can cast one special spell (you know the one 🦶), and he can do it extremely well.
how was skarbrand not on here? when defending a fortress. he's the one unit I send outside of the wall to deal with any reinforcements while my main army wipes everything else out

I've mananged to delete Malus easily with 4 groups of quarrelers. Any kind of ranged team will do, you just have to keep him busy in melee. Ranged will forever be the most OP thing in this game.
I don't understand why Kugath is not on the list. The guy is an artillery so he can soften troops, in melee fights in 1v1 thank to his poison, stats and regen he wins most of the time, plus to kill armies he has direct damage and finally he is a great caster. i would have been dissapointed if malus would not have been number 1 on the list. he is the reason why demons of chaos campaign has a rough start. i fought him once and killed off his army with no problems, but he alone slaughtered my army, my heros and my lord. in early game you can only beat him by using auto resolve, but in battle, there is no chance to beat him.
Vlad is the most terrifying thing in the game. That hit box and insane regen plus beguilement bebuff on anything he wants to cast it on. Also the changling taking the form of the blue scribes while having blue scribes in his army allows him to just have two blue scribes that have separate magic bars... meaning you can just cast every spell in the game in every direction at twice the rate

No skarbrand?
Not having Imrik on here is a grave mistake, and I can show you in a H2H campaign why. :P
I love it.
@@rm0986 Exactly. I was shocked when I saw its power. In addition, his ability lowers the opponent's attack and defense statistics and his armor resets the cooldown of his abilities. Kugath beats him in a custom battle but in the campaign with his abilities and damage reduction I don't see anyone reaching his level (Kugath won't win against Imrik in campaign). He is the best duelist.
Imrik is a beast if you can survive that slog that is early game and break grimgores army when he inevitably comes for you. My last campaign i was retaking the empire and beat the piss out of vlad over and over. So satisying to kill that bastard so easy.

In the game, you can reset the lord's abilities, which makes him injured for 3 turns. When you do this, for example with Imrik, you need to recruit a new lord to replace him in the army that Imrik commanded.
I used this mechanic to hunt for lords traits.
I recruited a random Lord in the settlement with one unit of archers. Then I sent it towards, for example, Throt. I previously reset Imrik's abilities. When a random lord was close to the target, I did exactly the same to him and replaced him with Imrik, which I used to kill Throt. At the beginning I used full armies for this, but Imrik quickly becomes an OMD and can then destroy armies on his own.
My trait hunt started AFTER about turn 20. I gained the dragon regeneration trait so it was easier for me (second encounter with the dragon).
In the first turns, after dealing with the dwarves, I immediately attacked the chaos dwarves. I bargained with the first dragon to gain 60 influence and hired a Princess for it
with the Punitive trait. A powerful trait that gives increased damage to ranged units and reduces the resistance to fire of enemy armies in the region.
With her help, I killed Tretch and avoided his trait. I didn't need it. I didn't fight ogres. Helman and the other skaven did not declare war on me.
I gave The Wolf Lands to Greasus to distance myself from the remaining problems. I kept Caledor for myself and from there I could send Imrik to Malekith for his trait.
Grimgor fought Greasus and I defeated Grimgor on my way through the ogre lands. I was heading to Nakai to kill him. However, I had to load the saved game because it turned out that Kroq-Gar was destroyed by Thorek, etc. I used to play on Very High, but this campaign was initially played on a difficult level and very difficult when it comes to battles. I didn't use the feature manager. I turned it on just to see what actions added a given trait. Examples:
1. Headsman. I always chose the "Take on Warriors" and "Loot & Occupy" options when it came to conquering a settlement. These are the only options that do not add any feature. Execute Captives adds a "Headsman" to our character. At first, this meant you had to fight rebellious armies, but it gave me extra experience fo my lords.
2. To prevent Supervisor from being added, I didn't use March Stance at all.
3. Disciplinarian. Whenever I conquered a settlement, just before the end of the turn I would use the right mouse button to have my character "leave" the settlement. Then we won't get Disciplinarian.
4. Creator. In Imrik's case, this is not difficult due to his limited income. I simply did not start building new buildings in the presence of Imrik in a given region (not province).
Repairing buildings was not included. The trait is only charged when we start construction. If we introduce a lord to a given region where one round of construction of a given building has already passed, the feature will not be counted. (as far as I remember).
I didn't support the Other Army with just Imrik so as not to add a support trait. Swimming in the sea also adds a trait associated with this activity, so I didn't do it with Imrik alone.
BTW. I noticed that the chaos corruption trait disappears on its own after spending a few turns in an uncorrupted province.

Running around with Taurox and the Sword of Khaine hunting LL defeat traits is probably the most fun Ive ever had in this game so far
I couldn't figure out how to not get stopped out by vampires at the beginning of his campaign.
Glad to see Noctilius get some love he is easily my all time favorite lord
Surprised that Skarbrand isn't here, He is one unit army after all and possibly the best!
"The great white lizard, which isnt just my nickname when i go to the beach" had me fucking dying😂😂😂😂
How do you leave out Skarbrand and Kholek?? Is it because of their larger hit boxes?
Was kinda surprised to not see Ikit here, unless we’re counting doom rockets as campaign abilities.
Malus Darkblade at lvl 1 nearly solo'd my whole army I lost 2 heroes, and he killed over 300 of my men
I've seen Markus and archaon defeat entire armies by themselves. We had beaten every other unit except then, and they still won.
Vilitch regeneration of the shield bar on top of the health regeneration.
I''m surprise that Sigvald dont make the list
sigvald just doesnt die but he also struggles to kill anything from my experience so he just kinda sits there
Been so long since I played Warhammer that my boy tyrion isn't even in the list
imrik and sisters of twilight are amazing. Imrik has beastly stats and AoE melee. Sisters are like an AC130 that blast away.
Kholek can wipe out numerous armies himself. Skarbrand is also crazy. Has this guy been living under a big rocky mountain? Oh wait that "big rocky mountain" was just kholek suneater.....
Yeah you missed scarbrand
my suggestion for a list: Top 10 Best and top 10 worst auto-resolve factions
Almost all of the List would be sacrificed for the skull throne by daddy Skarbrand
Bah! Teclis can melt Skarbrand from half a mile away!
Would you consider making a list of top 10 battle HEROES?
Skarbrand, Kairos, Mazdamundi, Belakor. This list misses a lot.
Pretty pants list. Putting the changeling at number 3 makes no sense. He switches into gimped versions of lords
And no Kholek/Skarbrand/Kugath/Tyrion/Kairos place on the list? Lolno.
Korn has join the Chat and is MAD.
*khorne
I'm playing Vlad, seems pretty OP. Anyone above him must just be a bit easy
Unless the lord changed, the everchosen wasn’t a “twinky elf man” he was a human, father was a norscan and mother was from the empire, but possibly still a twink?
I some how missed this video! Gor Rok is the best! I wish his model was a lil more...complex but he is still awesome.
i dont think the changeling should be on this list, his strenght is changing into other lords but slightly worse then they are themselves and he cannot use the only lord you ranked above him so he is weaker then anyone on this list by a long shot imo.
In the vacuum of this video, fair. His strength is in his cults.
I really like Queek, he has high damage output
I rarely faced Malus and, after being wiped out once, i reloaded the battle and put my norscan axe foot skirmishers on him. They killed him without any major trouble, just a bit of kiting and micro management.
Me who has never bought any of the DLC and was wondering which Lord I could use out of this list
get creaminstaller/creamapi and unlock them all for free
the only reason i bought the game was cause i found out about that program
Sisters of Twilight with their dragon and something like the sword of Khaine is incrediblely op. Personally found it to be better than even Malus Darkblade as long as you use their AOE arrows instead of the single target
And I mean when you use them as melee units rather than a ranged one
Yeah but sword wasn’t allowed here, just their items.
Based Taurox
Surprised you havent included kugath. The guy is the single strongest entity in custom battles and can 1v1 and beat any other LL including skarbrand
I might be a bit biased here but I would have liked to see Wurrzag on the list. He’s not good in melee and Greenskin spells aren’t the most diverse, but he can cast one special spell (you know the one 🦶), and he can do it extremely well.
how was skarbrand not on here? when defending a fortress. he's the one unit I send outside of the wall to deal with any reinforcements while my main army wipes everything else out
So Changeling does not get Malus's Transformation?
No dwarves on the list?! Thats the grudging!
no Belakor and Skarbrand? strange list.
my personal list would be:
1. Malus
2. Zhao Ming
3. Kugath
4. Skarbrand
5. Yuan Bo
6. Vlad
7. Kairos
8. Belakor
9. Drazoath
10. Archaon
damn im surprised to not field Taurox in my own top10
Karl FRANZ was missed in the list lol.
I know you play this game alot and are very knowledgeable. That said, without Skarbrand, Tyrion, Grimgor, and Mazda on this list, I have no choice but to immediately discredit it
Need a top 10 list for the deciever.
Like the dude is a jack of all trade, master of all
Because Kugath is a wet noodle that even gets solo'ed by Greasus?
give archaon crown of everlasting conquest for some heals along the eye of sheerian barrier, unstoppable.
Good list, I mostly agree
4v4 Skirmish A.I
Fight Skarbrand, Kugath, Kairos, and N'kari with four lords of your choice.
Tried fighting Malus he was at half health and o had a demon prince if khorne a bunch of exulted blood letters and chaos warriors if khorne I slaughtered his army and malus killed half of mine including my demon prince
uh Vlad can literally solo multiple army stacks on his own and he regens how is he not on here let alone top 2.
Vlad is here
Belakor??? Literally has HP regen like crazy and can clap anything plus has lore of shadow.
Youz forgot da one true Git.
Did you just forget about Skarbrand?
vlad may be a demon in melee but open up the area to ranged and his health bar will plumit, i did this myself while playing as the dwarfs, the same could be said for malus. I dont know why you didnt include skarbrand nor kolek, both are terrors on the battlefield and with even a little infantry support can desimate any army.
Vlad has raise dead and a bunch of other spells to deal with range units. Most VC lords are simply op cos its their job to carry the faction
@@Centrioless even when vlad had the upper hand of 2 full stacks against my not so almost 2 full I demolished him with ranged, he didnt stand a chamce and he was high lvl so👎
@@eatsnowanddie then you should play vlad against dwarfs. You'll be surprised how much easier the fight is
@@Centrioless i was playing as the dwarfs and smitted his ass, yeah he is a demon in melee but have a good back line range and vlad fell like a rock
If Harry hammerstorm was a lord he would be on this list when possible on higher difficulty i will take a reasonable auto resolve rather than bother with the hassle of kitting him around the battlefield forever to finish him off they need to take unbreakable off him even if they buff him in other areas
Morathi and Helebron laught hard
Emperor must be here
I swear acheron was a norscan in life no ? I don't remember him being a elf ?
Yuan Bo about 230,000 damage nothing comes close.
I’m only bothered by the fact deathmaster sknitkich wasent on the list, I mean he litterally has death master in his name!
i would have been dissapointed if malus would not have been number 1 on the list. he is the reason why demons of chaos campaign has a rough start. i fought him once and killed off his army with no problems, but he alone slaughtered my army, my heros and my lord. in early game you can only beat him by using auto resolve, but in battle, there is no chance to beat him.
I believe Grombindal also deserves the OP lord title, huge damage and so tanky.
Why is Skarbrand not on here? he can solo entire armies easily, early and late game
Malagor: Am I a joke to you?
bruh, no skarbrand on this list???
Taurox most powerfull attribute is been able to wield the Sowrd of Khaine withount any problem.
What about imrik? After all his legendary dragon fights he gets some insane buffs and I can take on whole army’s with just him on his dragon
How many of you watched this video only for the curiosity of who Is Better between skarbrand and malus?
SKABRAND WOULD EAT THIS LIST AND FEED THE SKULLS TO THE SKULL THRONE AND GRIMGORE IS JUST WAAAAAAAAAGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!
Vlad is the most terrifying thing in the game. That hit box and insane regen plus beguilement bebuff on anything he wants to cast it on.
Also the changling taking the form of the blue scribes while having blue scribes in his army allows him to just have two blue scribes that have separate magic bars... meaning you can just cast every spell in the game in every direction at twice the rate
top3 shoud be all cathay lords becouse of 2 regen pools and they have magick. and plz nuber 8 is just goofy ah XD
Skarbrand is literally Taurox but better and with more mass
Dossnt kugath literally solo every other lord due to his absurd hp pool once he's leveled and has his mortis engine? On top of that he can heal his entire army and is an artillery lord which is extremely rare
Skarbrand just rekt everyone on this list. I've tried.
Where is Skarbrand???
He can be made into a one-man doomstack!
Doesnt kugath body most of these lords 1v1?
Where is skarbrand???
Big Pale lizard 😂
how do you get blood and blood effects (VFX) in this game?
I feel like skarbrand is just a straight upgrade from Taurox. Kinda weirde he isn't on the list
Seeing Teclis on any kind of mount is the most lore unfriendly thing ever.
No Skarbrand, Kholek or Kugath, who can all 1v1 anybody else in the game LMAO okay
