Yeah Georgia and Virginia has the most highest percentage of karat weight than any other state in the country !! I believe it's karat weight is like around 21 to 23 karat pure so that's pretty darn close to 24kt and all other states range from 17 to 20 kt pure gold !! All the pro gold players mine it for the money and they just send it in to refine it if they don't do it themselves but to me as a prospector and collector the gold here in Virginia or anywhere is worth more found straight out of ground for I'm a purist and you take away a lot of the gold's true value when you refine it but that's just me and there are quite a few people see it that way as well !!!
Hey guys -great video. How were you able to get permission from the private land owner of this cave. I visited it one time and then was told I was trespassing on private property.
We find a ton in west ga creeks. Found a nugget about the size of 1/3 apple a couple years ago. We had a whole crew out looking though. Mostly just flake. Ga still has a ton of hold.
