I think these pads would be excellent for oxidized RV/boat gelcoat. Where you need a pad that can do a lot of work in a short amount of time on a relatively hard surface. Thank you for the demo!

Would 2500 grit sandpaper be quicker
@@chrissemsch8781 depends on the level of oxidation. Light to medium surface oxidation really no need to wet sand. But you need a heavy cutting pad to deal with it. Normally a rotary polisher and wool pad. These Beast pads would be good if all you have is a D/A. If the oxidation is heavy/pitted then yes, 800 - 1500 - 3000 wet sand it.

The results were amazing especially on the 600 grit sand marks. These pads are worth looking into so THANK YOU very much for all your hard work doing these videos and sharing your knowledge.

But what got me the most was the finish! A pad THAT aggressive has NO RIGHT to finish down that well!

That's the beauty of not having a glass surface of a pad. That's why waggle pads ccs, SDO, etc.. pads work so well!

On softer paintwork… a finishing pad would be needed for sure.
The polisher. I see that the maxshine. It the 15mm or 21mm with a 5 inch pad?
I have both… this was the 21mm
Gotcha. I have just the 15mm. I seen a few ppl get the 21mm and have a 5 inch backing plate on it
