@fnaticmedia if you need a gimbal and it's getting cumbersome, then yes. But you won't frame as well as on your phone. I use both now, taking advantage of the x.6, x1, and x3 cameras

This rig is better than the small rig brand. Mainly cause the handles twist like that without me having to detach the handles and remove some screws like I have to do with the smallrig. I been looking for a new rig to fit the iPhone 16 pro max and I think I found it thanks to this video.
I think both phone,s are master pieces, the diccision between the 15 pro max and the s24 ultra was a tough one. I choose the s24 ultra in the end i like the screen better for me personally i found most functions better on the samsung afcourse this is a personal choice. A happy s 24 ultra user here :)

I have been watching your Samsung S24 ultra series videos. Those series were great and very informative. There is 1 area I am having trouble, and I cannot find good explanation. When to use phone zoom vs where to use phone’s telephoto. I am not adding any additional device/lens whatever is built in in Samsung S24 ultra. For example, I am taking distance photos and using 17x zoom but the pictures are not of great quality. Thank You.
I got it more than 2 weeks ago I think. Today I opened it. It is very heavy compared to Smallrig universal or iPhone cage and Neweer is very light and can be used threaded or magnetic filter of 67mm. I bought it due to I have Freewell lenses and an ND filter set. The freewell case clamp(latch or catch) that holds the phone is not designed well, because if I push a little bit from the backside, the phone comes out, but neither Smallrig or Neweer Cage stays inside the cage slot and can't get out even the latch side is open. This is a minus. The weight is positive or negative depending on the person because heavier cages are more stable than lighter ones, but long time of use of the Freewell you may be tired(some not). I'm 67 and a smaller person feels heavy, but don't care it. Both Freewell, Neweer, and smallrig remote control lack of zooming button(capacity.). many mini tripods from Ulanzi, Pgytech, and Huawei remote control with Bluetooth have a zooming function and you can buy them online for 15-25 dollars. I saw Brandon Li new universal small rig Cage has a zooming button switch for iPhone and another position for Android.

At 7:38 That comparison shot lets you know how crummy the lens is on the iPhone. Look at how bad the fish bowl affect is when he pans from the sky to the statue it gives a drop effect enough to make you sick to your stomach almost. It doesn't even have any kind of fish bowl effect for the Samsung side probably because of the lens aspect ratio.
I own both the S24 Ultra and the iPhone 15 Pro, and I have to say, the iPhone is way better and ahead when it comes to photo and video quality. Every time I take pictures with the Samsung, the colors look strange and my face appears distorted and unnatural. The photos just don't capture reality; they look oversaturated and weird. On the other hand, the iPhone delivers stunningly accurate colors and natural skin tones that truly reflect real life. It makes a significant difference in the quality and realism of my photos and videos. If you're looking for a phone that captures beautiful, true-to-life images, the iPhone is the clear winner. Samsung just can't compete in this area.
I'm still looking for the perfect third party video recording app on Android 😅. There are many good ones for photos and sometimes, they aren't that much better than the stock app in certain scenarios

Why people comparison phones mostly with Camera rather many functions and features? I rarely use camera when is only needed. I have banned to touch or check camera in my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. But they can use and check other features.
In today's smartphone market, the camera is often the most noticeable area for improvement because other tech aspects have pretty much reached their peak. So, it's not that the other features aren't important, but the camera is where the magic happens now!

@StevenDivish iphones are only better out of the box. You can mod each lense with sideloaded github apk, force video on the 200mp, slap a cooler on it and unlock 8k and 12k at 60hz. The s24's hardware is superior, it's just locked behind heat and battery protections that are easily mitigated. Iphone takes better videos? That's false bro, and I don't own a galaxy phone or pumping for android, it's just a fact. Also, the iphone can record up to 8k while the Galaxy phone gets up to 12k.... I don't know what to tell ya.
