I so needed this for my sister-in-law she has a business with chickens. She takes chicks and raises them till they are adults. Yes that is a business 😊. Because it takes alot of care when they a little. And she's retired. 😊
Awww! That is so sweet! Thank you for sharing!! 🥹❤️🐓I hope she enjoys the chicken you’ll crochet for her!!!
I followed along lastnight and finished my chicken, now I have 4 more in the works, I’ve done all the small attachments now on to the bodies 🥰
You are soooooo easy to follow along with, thank you for taking the time to share this with us.
I’m in love with these little guys 🥰
I also wanted to say I hold my crochet hook like a caveman 😂😂 I’ve never heard someone say that until in your video, but that’s how I hold it.
AWWW!!!! Thank you for letting me know you enjoyed this tutorial!!! Sorry it took so long for me to see your comment! I’m so happy you enjoyed this pattern and are making ALL the chickens!!!🥰❤️🔥👏🐓
Hahaha I think I’ve heard caveman grip used in the context of like a spoon/fork so it just felt right with the crochet hook. I guess typically people say pencil grip or knife grip 🤣🤣🤣
I came onto RUclips to find a chicken pattern, because my mother-in-law has chickens, and I thought it would be fun to make her one. I bumped into your channel, and your intro just melted my heart. So, I had to subscribe to your channel. Thank you so much for your kindness, and always bringing joy to others. What a sweetheart you are💕☺!
Awww!!! Thank you for your kind comment and for the sub!! 🥰🥰I hope you enjoy this tutorial as well and that you MIL absolutely adores the chicken you make her!!!🐓🐓🐓
This looks SO cute!!!! I can’t wait to make it! Thank you for sharing this, Mary!!! ❤
Of course, Janet!!! ❤️🐓I hope you enjoy making this chicken!!!! 🥰
Very cute, and quick chicken. I learn two new skills - knot and then thread needle to pull knot through, plus how to count rows correctly if you forget which row you were on. I made this chicken tonight and it is cute!
YAY!!!! I’m so glad you found this video and my extra tips helpful!!!🥹❤️🐔happy crocheting!!!!
I like how you explained what you are doing. You are a good teacher.
Awww!!! Thank you! 🥰❤️that means a lot to me!!!🥹🥹🥹

I just found you on instagram and I’m obsessed!
I’ve never done crochet before, but now I must try it. Gonna start with some basic things before trying this- but I’m excited!!
Thank you so much for the excellent video!
YES!!! I’d definitely recommend starting with a small square-get used to holding the yarn in your non-dominant hand first and then get comfortable with the different stitches! ❤️ I’m so excited you’re starting crochet! It brings me a lot of joy and I hope it does the same for you!!! 🥰🧶🥹❤️
I love chickens, so this was perfect. I will be making a lot more of these. Thank you for this!

Thank you!!🥰🥰🥰
Omg I love it I’ve been wanting to crochet these but I struggle with confidence. I was given a bunch of free yarn and I haven’t done anything yet.
Ooh!!! Free yarn! I’m excited for you! I love getting peoples’ yarn stashes! Although… sometimes there’s really good stuff and sometimes there’s just stuff that I’ll never use 🤣
I loved this it was a great tutorial!
😃I’m so thrilled you enjoyed!!!
Can't wait to make this for my niece, I support small businesses, so I purchased the 5.00 pattern. ❤
🥹thank you so much for supporting my work!!! $5 to a big corporation doesn’t make a huge impact to them, but to me, it adds up and helps with my bills 🙇🏻♀️thank you so much for supporting my work!!!❤️❤️❤️
Thank you
So Cute! ❤

❤️❤️❤️I’m so glad!
I love this, the chicken is soooooooo cute.
I have chickens in my backyard and i am going to show them this
it is going to be so cute and funny when my chickens see this...😍🤩🥰🐥🐓🐔
AWWWWWWWW🐓🐔❤️🥰I hope your chickens enjoy your crocheted chickens!!!! 🥹🥰❤️
that is so cutee
Thank you!!! I hope you have a great time crocheting this chicken!!! ❤️🐓
I love your enthusiasm, Could the chicken be made larger by multiplying the stitches by X3 ?? for example, I would want a 10 inch chick.
My sister had been bugging me to make a lil chicken for my niece. I regret using the plush yarn because it kinda hides the details and I had to pinch the wings to make them visible. I should have outlined them with my brown yarn to see it better. Only the left side came out perfect!

Hello from Canada! Liked n subscribed. Have a nice day!
Aww! Thank you! I hope you enjoyed and look forward to the videos I make in the future! ❤️❤️❤️
Is there anyway you can do it a little slower? I know that for you it’s so easy to go through them but with beginners, it takes us a little longer still learning all the language on single stitch and stuff like that so if you can show your crochet a little slower and maybe show what you mean by a increase I would so much appreciate it. You are amazing and I can’t wait to learn from you. Thank you so much.
Thank you for your feedback!!! ❤️ I’ll keep that in mind to go slower next time! Was there any particular part I can clarify or better help you with?
Yur doing 2 stitches in one for the increase. You can pause the video at any time until u catch up. Its what I do
There’s a setting on videos to decrease the speed!
You can adjust the playback speed under the little gear shape. My 11 year old great grandson taught me that. Lol. Happy crocheting.
Are you work on the blc (bcl)?
Hi! If I use Sweet Snuggles for a larger chicken, can I still follow this pattern?
thank you for this tutorial! wish u could make a bigger version of it too so i could have something to hug onto
Actually, you can make use this same pattern with size 7 jumbo chenille yarn and a 10mm hook to make a jumbo chicken! Same pattern, same number of stitches, just go bigger 😁
@@merrymakes thank u so much for this ❤ i really hope you would make more tutorials! they are great and easy to follow. tbh, amigurumis intimidated me since im a beginner but u made them easy for me so thank u so so much
@@autumnleaves5215 AWW! That means so much to me! ❤I'm so glad you're enjoying these videos! They take me a lot of time to make, but I'll slowly make more as I'm able to! 😊
its easy follow along and your sooo nice! not trying to be rude but you need to show us how to 6 sc that part was hard for me.
Not rude at all! I appreciate your feedback. 😊 You may want to look at my bao tutorial which is more geared towards beginners and shows round 1 in more detail.
Almost a 10 k! 😊
Oh sorry i meant 10 k 😊😅
🥳🎉I never expected my RUclips channel would grow so much given I only make post a video every 4-6 weeks 😱 I’ll have to start posting more! 😉
i’m bouta use the body for kickin chicken REeEeEeEeEeeEHeheheheeh
Hemoso❤
❤️❤️❤️
Hi
This chicken project is so amazing. May I know the actual safety eyes size please.
Thank you! I used 8mm safety eyes and there’s a time stamp in the tutorial for all the materials! ❤️❤️❤️
How do I crochet the big chicken
Hi if I want a bigger size chicken. Do I just increase yarn size ?
Yes! Keep everything about the pattern the same, but use a larger yarn and the appropriate size crochet hook! ❤️ just make sure you choose a smaller size so that there is less space between your stitches-this way the stuffing won’t fall out. 😊
Could we maybe have a tutorial for a cow please? 💚
I HEAR YOU! 🐄🐄🐄I can’t make any promises but I’ll keep your suggestion in mind 😉 I do really want a whole entire farm hahaha 🤣
Beautiful, loved it, can you make a plush dolphin please 😊😊😊😊
I can’t make any promises, but I hear your request! ❤️
I cannot do the feet it looks a big mess ugh
😱that’s okay! If the slip stitches for the feet aren’t working, I’d recommend embroidering the feet on instead!
I don't want to be rude but I'm like crying bc i cant get the 6 sc bc your to fast
Not rude at all! I appreciate your feedback and will keep my speed in mind on the next video. 😊 You may want to look at my bao tutorial which is more geared towards beginners and shows round 1 in more detail.
I love your videos and stuff but you were going to fast and I did not understand what you were doing and saying. Thanks though
These take so long to do if you doing it right! lmaoo
