I am just beginning salsa lesson and was told the man always always leads with the left foot. But the man does not in this video. I am confused. I am learning New York.
Good clear and direct video to experienced salsa dancers, where I get lost and need some SLOW clarification is when the lead, partners up for ON_2. Since the lead was to followers side, his footwork wasn't what I was anticipating. Then I wasn't able to really see how this move would be led and thus incorporated into my limited routine. Not hating but providing feedback, thanks and I did like and subscribe..lol
Great video! However, It appears that you guys are dancing, or, teaching, dancing on one, by echoing 1,2,3,5,6,7 as opposed to 2,4,6,8. Explaining the music bar, along with dancing to the sound of the conga, further clarifies dancing on 2 movements, as perfectly explained by the Dance Dojo. Nevertheless, beautifully done.❤
Is it just me or was this a Suzy Q and Rumba walk lesson and had nothing to do with On2? I’m new to looking at timing not on1- so… maybe I’m the only one who is lost here. They do seem like very nice folks though.
A lot of thanks for making and sharing your video ‼️

It helps when your Headline matches your lesson😂

Your susyQ style is a on1 type, for susyQ on2, your crossing leg should occur at times 2 and 6, not at times 1 and 5
wtf....
