Thank you so much for sharing this video! It was so helpful! 🤩 I’ve been watching many instructional videos trying to learn how to dance salsa on the 2. This is the only video that really made sense to me so far! Thank you again!
en el 2:50 empieza a bailar por unos 3 seg hasta el final el video., ¿dónde está el video dónde enseña al menos un paso de verdadero baile como esos 3 seg?
You will have to look for his online video on his website.

Yes.. and at the end, when it speeds up goes strait to old school timing! Which obviously makes more sense, especially when you're following this instrument! Nevertheless he is an inspirational instructor with whom we've learned a lot!
For all their talk of trying to be "different", "On-2" dancers end up breaking 2-3-4 or 1-2-3 anyways, just like American Rhythm Mambo dancers, or LA salsa dancers, since a QQ-break and S-step just works better.
@@zy9662 I mean they can't even keep "on-2" timing. Sit back and watch and 99% of amateur salsa dancers will break-replace-step on 1-2-3 or 2-3-4. "On'-2" is step-break-replace on "1-2-3" and no one actually does it (as evidenced even in this instructional video).
i sometimes have difficulties finding the begging of the musical phrase, since the tum tum and the pa are the same on 4,5/7,8 respectively 2/6. this leads, in my case, to a confusion between 2 and 6. how can i overcome this issue?
Very good point Roxana. In this case the conga is only played on 1 drum and therefore there is actual no difference between the 2 and 6. Now he plays the first 4 beats with some more intensity but that is quit hard to hear. If you would hear a second instrument such as the clave with it, it would be much easier or...if he would play two conga's. Than the 2nd part of the beats are played partly on the second drum which gives it a different sound. Hope you understand. Thanks for responding!

Roxana understand the La Clave will fix your comment
don't think too much about it, Just listen a lot on2 salsa until you get it right
Don't listen to the drums, listen to the walking bassline or the melody. Easier to pick up on. Or just start counting from the beginning of the music.
素晴らしい!
Very nice. Where can I find the full episode?
You should be able to find the old video or dvd online.
+Andrea Balestri You can find it on his DVD. You can find it online.
wounderful thanks
Cool! More? :)
Why starting backwards?
Because ladies first. These are the men's steps he's showing.
This is On2. That's how it works. The lady breaks forward on 2 and the man back.
