I think you should have also looked at the various tableaus that participate in the parade from a few shortlisted states (different each year). Firstly, they show the culture, music, dance, architecture, achievements and focus of that state well. And secondly, because you'll also see the information on the screen, so you know what state's tableau you are looking at. This video, although good, doesn't give any information about the various dances and I also feel that syncing all the dances on the same tune looks odd since they are traditionally performed to very different musical styles. Great video though, you are slowly descending into the trenches lol!

most indians speak english and most people in india have basic understanding of hindi so its not that difficult to communicate, and indians usually speak 3-4 languages so there is always a common language to talk with people from other states.
