Join me for a cozy day in the life where we do some of my favorite traditions. First I try my hand at a homemade sugar cookie latte syrup. Then we head off too the Christmas tree farm for our tree-- oops maybe not. Then I host a party and serve a charcuterie board and holiday punch, and cap it all off with a cozy family evening decorating our tree and sitting by the fire. I'm so glad you're here!

In some places here in Sweden you can rent a Christmas tree! It comes in a pot so you keep it as a plant over Christmas and then you return it. You can even get the same tree for several years!

The tree turned out beautifully but even more beautiful were the precious memories made with your kids together as a family honoring our Jesus.
My favourite tradition is breakfast on Christmas morning. I go all out and make everyone's favourites and we sit and talk and eat and talk some more and just enjoy each other.
Brought back so many memories when my children were young going to pick out the tree and decorating it.
You and Josh are such a wonderful example of a Christ centered couple serving one another and others as well as showing hospitality.
I so enjoy watching your channel . It's classy and beautiful no cussing or body parts being shown . Thank you for sharing. And possibly teaching are younger teenagers how too be beautiful without all the ugly that we have in this world.
Some of our favorite memories are the Christmas traditions and devotions we did with our boys. As they got older, they made Lego nativities and set up Lego Christmas trains under the tree. I am so thankful that they know and celebrate Jesus!

We've been getting our tree at a tree farm for over 40 years. Now with the grown-up children and grandchildren. Absolutely my favorite tradition. Your kids will never forget it!
Butter in the coffee; it's actually a digestion trick 😀 you can add regular butter to hot coffee as well and it slows down the digestion to keep you from feeling the "caffeine crash" or "caffeine jitters" if you have a fast metabolism it's a great tip.

Absolutely beautiful family tree decorating. I know you can’t know it while you are in it but my gosh the years go so quickly. Cherish these times with your littles. My babies are now 24, 21, and 16. I never imagined I’d miss their younger years as much as I do.

I have a good gingerbread recipe to eat! The more you work the dough the harder they get. Letting the dough chill for about 8 hours makes it cook better for eating as well❤

Loving all the holiday videos so far. My family has a new tradition we started a few years ago where our meal on Christmas Eve celebrates how other cultures do Christmas. It's been so much fun choosing the country, learning all the traditions, and of course eating all the food.

One of my favorite Christmas tradition is hosting or going to friends houses. Of course until the friends come is stressful with all the preparations but once they come the fun begins. When I was younger I loved going caroling.

Grew up with real trees and that's how I do it with my family ♡♡ Cozy, smells so good, and such warm memories.♡♡ We are going this Sat to cut ours down :) I decorate our whole house with live greenery and berry tree branches that my husband and i go get from my parents trees... our girls have started helping and it's just fun to do as a family :)
We always drive around to see lights, with pizza and pop :-) then going to the mall is so fun before Christmas!! :)
We are going to go carrolling to the homeless this year. Usually every year we go caroling to a few people near by and minister to them.
Then we always make a new ornament for our tree (we do all momento ornaments that have meaning and a menory with it) or some sort of craft as a family ♡♡ We love doing gingerbread houses too.

We have a family breakfast on Christmas morning at home or for a picnic (I'm in Australia so it's warm outside).
My favourite Christmas tradition is eating my grandpa's sweet potato mash, and he always brings it over in the same yellow 1950s bowl.😁

We always make a point of enjoying the winter solstice (Dec 21). Living in Canada - we really feel how short the shortest day of the year is! We choose to unplug and play acoustic music, and we light the whole bottom floor in only candle light (no electric overhead lights). We play board games and eat a massive charcuterie board, and sit with gratitude that every day thereafter will have a little more sunlight. Since we are not religious, this is a way to make the season special and meaningful for our family.
Ok, I feel inspired. Think I'm going to follow your steps and making a charcuterie board for our Christmas brunch, thank you for your tips!

Love watching you do outings with your kids and Josh. Brings back so many memories of my family when our kids were young. But, I can't imagine that you got all that done in one day!! Lol You are definitely type A like my daughter. She is up 3arly and works all day but every minute of her day is filled with work outs, family, friends, spouse time, etc. She gets sooo much done every single day and thrives on it. I admire women like that. You CAN have it all. Nice video as usual.

To help the syrup and butter/chocolate mix, you can do the sugar syrup in one pot and melt the butter and chocolate in another. Then, whilst constantly whisking, stream the butter/chocolate mix in slowly, starting with drops and then build up to a steady slow stream. This slow adding of fat into water will help it emulsify and it’ll all mix in together!!

Your videos always give me the warm fuzzies! I’m pregnant with my first and love seeing you interact with your kiddos. Me and my husbands Christmas tradition is for me to make homemade cinnamon rolls on Christmas morning. That’s all we’ve come up with so far, but we’re moving up to where there’s snow next year so we’ll have more fun true Christmas traditions to come!

God bless your family. White chocolate gas pretty low melting point and it curls if the temperature too high. So just add chocolate later once the mixtures under 80°F

Beautiful scenery and sweet family memories! Love your tree and decorations. I plan on drying some oranges for decorations for our Christmas Eve get together. I’ve been making gingerbread cookies for over 30 years with my daughters and now with the grandkids. The other tradition I love is we have a birthday cake for Jesus on Christmas Eve.
