This makes me think that Santon's BIG SHOT DEAL, or "funny prank" in this case, instead of getting a KeyGen and going to 'get a new form' for him, would be him trying to give the protagonist one last 'good prank' AND get himself his freedom.
Which as it turns out, he would try to hang himself and scare the protagonist, while simultaneously finding his freedom. Basically make his death a show and a source of (twisted) laughter even as he goes. Unfortunately, the prank goes wrong, and now he hangs before the protagonist, begging for freedom, with just one sliver of HP left.
Its time for Santon's final prank - fighting the protagonist. The FIGHT option involves trying to land a hit on his final bit of HP left - only for the string he hangs by to keep swinging him out of the way, resulting in MISS after MISS, until eventually the strain causes the string to snap and he just straight-up collapses. ACTing would be trying to remove the string, which ends similarly.

On a lighter note, it's cool that you're doing all of Sanston's themes as opposed to just the BIG SHOT variant. Most people don't remake these more lowkey themes and only do the big tough boss one.
