Welcome back!! I love the look of the guitar I will consider buying one when I save enough
Love how you bend some of the notes slightly off pitch to give it that slightly insane feel.
Woah. How have I only just found this? It’s beautiful playing - your tone and resonation. Simply stunning.
The guitar sounds wonderfully rich and powerful! I love the minimalistic clean nordic style of them too, reminds me of Astrand, etc. Sounds like the year was spent very well indeed!

Welcome back!!!
James I've seen your latest things and I was inspired by that to practice guitar and do the talent show this year,I been practicing for 3 years and I'm nervous about the addition coming in 5 days but I'm going to do it with your music as my inspiration.
Nicely done dude. Looks and sounds great
Nice rich tone and a beauty to behold. With your talent though, you could probably pick up a Martin Backpacker, which has the acoustics of a boat paddle, and make it sound great.
Awesome job my friend! I've been making custom acoustics for 14 years, you're a man of many talents!!
This is beautiful!
Woowwoow so beautiful ❤️, guitar looks so classy and beautiful..and sounds perfect

The best version of that song!
HE'S BACK BABY

I waited for one year to hear this masterpiece
You are back :) missed your music so much!
NICE
👏 bravo
I wish I play like you!
Great sound - who taught you to make these guitars?
It's so nice 😍😍😍🤩🤩🤩
I miss your all videos from Philippines🇵🇭
I think something like a timlaps of the building process would be really fun to watch
I have a better workspace now, so I’d like to do that soon for one of my next builds 👍
@@JamesBartholomewMusic I am planning to build a crossover guitar for myself would you pick Wenge or Palisander vor the back and the sides?
Palisander is another name for Rosewood right? I made a twin guitar to this one out of Wenge, it’s a timber with massive tonal potential but it isn’t the nicest to work with (hard, deep pores and splinters… lots of splinters!). I’d say both can make a great guitar, but you can’t go wrong with a good set of Rosewood.
@@JamesBartholomewMusic okay thanks, than i will send you a picture of the guitar when I am finished
@James Bartholomew You're an amazing guitarist and this is an beautiful version of this song. Could you pleaseeee tell me the tuning?
Hey James, so great to see you follow your Passion. Is that really your 2nd guitar? It took me like 30 to get somewhere near that quality of sound/craftsmanship 😀
Thanks man! Built this one as a pair with 001, but I'd built two guitars previously. My mentality was that they wouldn't get serial numbers/be sold until they were guitars I would buy myself 🙂
@@JamesBartholomewMusic Yeah, I also didn't use serial numbers for a long time because of that reason. I only wrote the date and No. of that year in the inside. I think Ken Parker does that too. Now it feels weird to give it a definite Number. Also hard to tell. I have build ~50 with a Hempstone body I think^^. But for 'collectors' it would be a big plus to own the first ever James Bartholomew guitar. So in your case I would use them right away. From what I've seen the look/sound worthy of a serial number! Cheers 🙂
@@cannaguitars4593 This pair of guitars was the first to get numbers, this one is 002 and a twin in Wenge/Sitka is 001 🙂 I consider the previous two personal prototypes (I actually signed the previous one as #000 as I had a hunch the next would be getting numbers!). Hard to imagine getting to #50 right now... many years away! 😅
Absolutely beautiful clean sound
It sounds like honey, well done!
Hey James, great to see you’re back! Does this mean your Patreon will be active again with regular posts? Sadly I unsubscribed after a few months of no activity, I thought you’d stopped altogether👎 But if you’re back, then I’d love to get back into supporting your work:)
epiko
Welcome back after 1 year
🙏
Sounds beautiful, but we need more energy on strings to get that guitar, I think )) Also, great to hear you again!
👍❤️
Lindo!
me encanta
This guitar sound so amasing, what type of wood did you use to produce it?
This one is a German Spruce top over Granadillo back and sides
“With your feet on the air and your head on the ground”
you actually made guitars? impressive! Please do a stay Kid Laroi Arrangement.
why did you chose the shape you did?
Watch your hands there when working with tools ⚡⚡⚡
Nice cover James! Love you Brother BTW Where is your Baton Rouge AR101S/GACE? I havent seen it for a while
What's youre guitar?
What's this song called?
Guitar giveaway on a 1M subs ?
Do you sell tabs for this?
The first songg .. what the name ?
awesome!! make a video on math rock, like andrew foy did...pleaaaase, I would love to hear some ichika nito/polyphia kind of music from you.
I’ve been listening to some Polyphia lately, I hadn’t considered it but now I’m intrigued to try something on acoustic…
Neither Ichika nor Polyphia is Math Rock.
@@PranshuNigam11 ichika made math rock vids and polyphia collabed with yvette young, they do have math rock influences. Well, I like to consider them under the same genre. Its a blanket term for me.
@@PranshuNigam11 I've heard actual math rock bands too(for eg : chon, not sure if that passes as math rock acc. to you) but these lads fascinate me more.
