I don't remember hearing about Dias before and I've been watching Breaking for years now, I feel like I've failed as a fan😂, but I'm glad I learned his name today because that boy is crazzzzyyy. That second round is why I still enjoy watching bboying; I know theres some heart left in this artform.

if you haven't watched the Battle of the Year 2023 Osaka finals, its Predators ( the crew Dias is from ) vs Flow XL and Dias is the final round closer.
He has the fun and creativity of Zeshen while having the loose, natural flow of a dude like K-Mel. I genuinely love what he can do, and he's never overextends. Dude is fresh, clean, and comfortable doing it in his cargo pants and camping hat, haha.

Hiro10 is the perfect bboy, got style and bunch of powermoves. If he could freeze more on beat and dance to music more he would be unbeatable just like Issei. Hiro10 came back really good against Amir, but Dias won more flava compared to Cis

EG-FUCKING-XACTLY. And you can’t put a price or value on that level of beyond existential synergy. How comfortable, unbothered, authentic, and natural Dias’ personality comes off through his moves is raw, true and truly something that, imo after having been breaking for 16 years, you only see in 1 out of every 1,000 breakers but then that 1/1000 develops their potential to a point like this and they become not 1 in 10,000 or 100,000 or even a million. Instead they truly become one of a kind.
I have only ever felt this energy off of someone breaker during really cool and pure but fleeting moments. The only bboy that comes to mind who takes as much time as their artful expression and original approach needs w/ the same type of energy is UZEE ROCK.
I mean Dias and Uzee are in the same region so who knows. Inspiration? Either way, it’s a win-win-win in a battle.
True Hip-Hop expression, as the opponent(s), these long rounds give you time to catch your breathe and get yourself in order and in the moment, and I’ll be damned if seeing Dias dance doesn’t just seem inviting and make you want to vibe similarly, too!
