Portland, JAMAICA in the Building!!!
Frank. It against the Anker powerhouse 767
Can’t imagine what the future would be like!
In all honesty, it is an industry first. The first power station that can truly recharge at thousands of EV stations worldwide. There is nothing more I can say.
Boy thats crazy expensive. I was guessing around 1000 to 1500 bucks but when I saw the price at $3600 I was like hell no.
Expect about 1$ per watt for these things.
The best part about the Delta Pro is that it can be expandable to around 25kWh which is more than enough to make my house independent from the grid.
it cant
Yeah it will only cost you 40k
Just received a EcoFlow Delta Max, the dual fuel generator, solar panel, and a Delta Mini. Glad to see you had a flawless experience with yours. Looking forward to trying out all of the various features.
It is definitely the best power station as it has 3600Wh of capacity and it can charge in less than 2 hours.
That's ain't a power bank, that's a power VAULT! LOL
It's cool how you guys are expanding to doing more reviews on other useful tech devices as well as the usual smartphones/tablets and laptops.
I really wish one review on RUclips would show a typical hook up to a typical home for backup power. For those of us who aren't engineers.
there's plenty. Search for "generator interlock switch" and do your own research. Basically first you need an electrician to install an interlock switch.
25,000wh is enough to run your whole house like the power never went out for 6 hours. These massive power cells should be the ones that are placed in teslas
I've wanted to buy one of these for some time now, just can't afford it just yet.
Hopefully next Black Friday.
I just moved into an RV to save some money for some investments, and this item would make life a lot more tolerable in here. Thanks for shedding light on this item.
I HAVE THE MONEY HOWEVER I STILL FEEL IT IS REALLY EXPENSIVE, MOST CITIES THERE ARE NO POWER OUTAGES ... LIVING IN THE CITY MAYBE MY POWER WILL CUTOUT 3 TIMES A YEAR AND TO SPEND THAT MUCH MONEY FOR THOSE 3 DAYS WELL THAT IS TOO EXPENSIVE. I FEEL ITIS JUST TOO EXPENSIVE THATS JUST ME. OH FORGIVE ME GREAT REVIEW . THUMBS UP
You can get the smaller unit or a small gas generator. It is not right for everyone just like have a wood fireplace in Florida won't get the use as someone in Maine
i live in a small rental and for my heating cooling i use AC ... i bought an a bit more expensive ACinverter one 4 years ago.. i realise in my settings my Delta 2 is just having fun on it it didnt even pushes hard...
in 23celsius heating mode a cold evening i saw 650 watts the most and droped to 290/320 ..
back then i chose to oversise my AC for 2 small rooms in open door so its i think 9k or 11 k BTU.. i work it 30% of its capable !!! delta 2 isnt so small . just needs extra battery for long nights!!!! ((( delta 2 ....240 volts europe model to be precise ))) ..
.... They even made em more silent..
It does sport LFP batteries which will last for years to come. I also like that it has 6500 charge cycles before the power goes down to 80%
Crazy I always watch Max for my Apple products but b never thought would catch him reviewing a solar generator I was considering buying… then again eco flow has been passing those things out like candy for review… Cool
Bluetti is another good brand for solar generators. Comparable features, same longer lasting (but heavier) LFP chemistry, and whatnot. Do your research and find the size best for you.
Propane, you say... I know a guy in Arlen, Texas, who would love to sell you some propane and propane accessories!
You should look at the rainbow air purification system for you and kids allergies!
Hey I can’t wait to watch this video but can you update the links on the thunderbolt 3 Snd M.2 .2 enclosures? It’s from your video 2 years ago thank you
This is an infomercial
Whats really cool is that you built the kids playhouse with the walls facing your neighbors- that way your kids are not looking over the fence down at your neighbors. That would have not been cool.
How long will it run your trailer 30amp service? Great video
Insane price
And insane performance you get what you pay for and when you add extra batteries it takes its runtime to really insane levels. Got it for energy security, but I’ve been using it to time shift my cheap rate electricity to use during the day and if it does last ten years it will more than pay for itself.
I did buy the DP.
My question is, how do you measure the inverter watt usage, let's say, over 12 hours, with a single appliance?
Everywhere I read, there are different overhead watts---20-30-40-50. I would like to be able to measure the exact watts used by the inverter.
Compare this with ones from Bluetti. The bluetti ones also use LFP Battery
Hi Max. Thank you for your review. Can you tell what is the AC idle power consumption of this unit. (let say it would be turned ON for a period of 10 hours with the AC output enabled) Thanks for your reply in advance! Adrian
not to happy - Latest wifi firmware secretly removed local access to the API, rooling back crutial functionality and access to home assistant,- the extra battery and delta pro are having problems with the state of charge on the batteries charge state is constantly drifting apart, constant resetting is the only way to regaing propper stateof charge for a short time, there is no firmware update in sight to resolve this either. support also is difficult long reaction times.
Do you have cold ❄️🥶?
Don’t feel like you need to keep pumping out the videos if you aren’t feeling well!
Just sounded like you had a blocked nose
Hello, can i split my time, 1-2 hour charge and another time Offgrid. Or i must every time do it manually ?
Nice
I'm just about sold on the EcoFlo Delta Pro, however, for me, I'm going to be using this sporatically ... during power outages, most likely following a Florida Hurricane. I'm thinking of using it overnight, mainly to power one maybe two two good sized refrigerators. During the day, I'm thinking of recharging the Delta Pro using my duel fuel gas/propane generator. Noise during the day is less intrusive than at night ... thus night use of the Delta Pro. Question: Think I could power just two refrigerators overnight say, 12 hours using a fully charged delta pro battery?
I power a full size upright freezer, standard size fridge , and sump pump with a now discontinued 1600watt/hr ecoflow. This is over double the size. The fridge only draws about 200 watts if i remember when the compressor is on
Max: your life is very complicated.
How many people can afford ecoflow thing that tracks the sun?
It will be very handy to have
This video is super relevant for me as a Ukranian😬
But it's too expensive:(
My biggest question as I don’t understand it fully but can this or what is need to run a smaller home about only 3000sq f. Is it better to get this than a generator
Main difference between these and traditional generators is the energy source in a grid failure - traditional is gasoline whereas these would be solar input (solar panels sold separately of course). Also they’re silent and don’t have to be outside. But, for the same output the traditional generator is way cheaper (hundreds of dollars vs thousands); however with solar panels you never have to pay for gas.
I bought a BLUETTI AC200Max for about $2K with intention of using for fridge and gas furnace (electricity for the blower & thermostat) in a grid failure - ie just the essentials if needed. Also nice to have for road tripping, camping, etc.
you would need at least 2 for 240 volt output. It depends on what you want to power and for how long. if you want to power and electric range and cook a turkey this is not the setup for you. If you just want to power the fridges, a few lights, sumppump and a tv this could be a great setup
How long will this run my wet/dry vac and my extractor for my detailing business?
look at the sticker for amperage multiply it by 120v that will give you the wattage. This unit is 3600 watt/hr and divide that by the watts of the vac, that number will give you approx run time. Many power tool companies like dewalt and milwauee sell battery vacs that use the same batteries that are in their drills
Will this be ideal for living in a van and running a small forced air heater?
if you get the 250watt heater it will last around 13-14 hours
Nice & Thanks :)
Nothing even comes close to that Delta Pro. It has a crazy fast charging speed and I can add extra batteries to it to expand or double the capacity in no time.
I wouldn't say that this is a review, seems like more of a pure sponsorship. All he's talking about is metrics that might not even be accurate, such as the 10- and 20-year longevity. Also, you should never run a microwave or space heater off a battery for too long as it kills the battery and degrades the cells due to overcurrent.
Not sure why you’re saying you can’t run a microwave. People run microwaves and much more in their RV’s for years and those batteries are much weaker and last way less than the LFP batteries in this. Check out their website or other websites that cover LiFePO4 batteries and charge cycles with longevity. It’s not just EcoFlow that are testing and rating these batteries this way. 👍
@@MaxTechOfficial Yeah, they'll maybe microwave a little bit on the road, using lower wattage microwaves than ones that mount in houses, but most microwave usage will happen on the grid, plugged into power. Additionally, RVs typically have much bigger batteries than this EcoFlow thing, especially the expensive ones that people would make food in.
How long would one run a microwave (that would make it too long for these batteries?)
I can't imagine cooking anything for that long in a microwave, to be honest.
Space heaters and washing machines and most household appliances (including smaller A/Cs) run with no problem whatsoever on these Delta Pros. I bought one... used it extensively for a month, then bought the whole 25kwh system with home panel to link to my house circuits.
Not a single problem with them.... even when all 10 circuits are running.
So has your Ecoflow failed yet?
I have a much older unit (2 years old) with the lower cycle life battery it run great and should last over a decade with my use. this unit should last 5-7x longer
You're getting the life that you're claiming only because you're not consistently powering high inductance loads like refrigerators, microwaves, portable AC units or large power tools. If you were, your unit would probably be a brick by now. High frequency, transformerless inverters simply don't last very long when frequently powering inductive loads. That's why high frequency inverters are so much cheaper than low frequency, transformer based inverters.@@JD-yx7be
I've been in the inverter repair business for the past 24 years, and I've never come across a high frequency, transformerless inverter that has lasted more than a couple of years when frequently powering inductive loads. Your comment of lasting 5 to 7 times longer is nothing more than wishful thinking. Without an iron core, copper wound output transformer to protect the H-Bridge, MOSFET circuit, Chinese made transformerless, high frequency inverters are not designed to last more than a couple of years with frequent use. That's simply impossible. @@JD-yx7be

Is there a EU version?
There is a UK version and I think Survival Lilly did a review on one of their products so that would have been an EU model, but I can’t find the video. Anyway I would be very surprised if they had only made it available in the US and UK only. I’m certainly pleased with my UK model.
I'll just put in a whole house natural gas generator for far less the cost than this overpriced contraption and my power will run even when the sun don't shine. These things are great for 'out in the woods' scenarios but not cost effective when natural gas power is available. These things need like an 80% price cut...
Your Key statement is "Cost effective WHEN natural gas power is available". I plan on having a backup power source if natural gas, propane, gasoline and diesel aren't available. Put a price on that if you have none of the above. Look what's happened in 2.5 years. The one's running America today and it's not Brandon, say that you will have nothing and be happy, they aren't bluffing. Pray without ceasing my Friend 🙋♂️.
3K? lol why did i even watch this? this is for rich people
I am considered working class and have one. It is priorities plenty of people working minimum wage can somehow afford the lasted iphone every year and i just use my budget android that is over 4 years old now. It also had a $400 price drop
After Ecoflow closed the local API port (without informing anyone) the battery is an useless dumb device with a very limited APP for $3.5k 😡
Battery integration (for monitor and control) with other software is impossible after Ecoflow closed the port.
Heavy, dumb and expensive device.
I purchased a delta(not pro) , saves me from ruzian energetic teггогism in Ukraine.
>>>>>>> #MAXTECH SO MUCH INCREÍBLE EXCELLENT WORK>>>>>>>>>>
