    Unreal insight mate. Great to see how you run your business. As a clothing reseller also, its good to see this sort of thing, great takeaways to be had for all resellers!

      The best part was this was a slow week and helped highlight a lot of inefficiencies and how much more work I can put in to make this thing a lot bigger. Thanks for watching Chris

    Im personally an Aspiring Ebay seller with little self drive, although not much clothes more media and video games. Watching you have a product photod and uploaded in 3 minutes motivates me to dig into the stock i need to post. Most insane in depth and speedy analysis, i cant stress enough that i really needed to watch this. Thank you Bro.

    I love behind the scenes and processes..my only question is why not get some foam board with utility fabric, slant it at 35 degrees to negate the need for hangers other than nylon type items that don’t stick..either way a great video..thoroughly enjoyed it 🙏🏼

      Thanks Tommy, I’m a process dork also. There was literally 5 hours of talking through each process that was cut from this video 😅. Regarding the photo setup, you are right and I should try another setup or 2 and test them for a week each to see what works best for me and my space. Honestly, it is just stubbornness to try at this point but it is something I need to consider if I want to grow further without adding another 20 hours of work or staff into the mix. Thanks heaps for watching and commenting mate

      @@DrewDTrott it’s hard to break the habits..i constantly look at things I can change..the first few days are hard, it takes a good week to adjust as you know. Your processes are pretty tight. The only things I could see to speed you up is cutting the hanger out with a slanted board and cutting down on shelves / boxes to save loads of steps and condensing time. I don’t know what options you have there but what I’ve settled on is 48 inch wide and 24 inch deep 5 tier shelving. I use 8in wide 10in high 36inch deep boxes. They fit perfect 5 wide on 48inch shelves and just hang over the back of the shelves 12 inches. You could probably do a 6inch wide box and a bit shorter depending how you fold. The 36 inch depth would literally fit 3x EASILY more per box and allow you to take shelves out for more room if needed and cut down on boxes to condense by 1/3..that was a game changer for me. Or instead of buying shelves just build them( anyone can do it) to the exact dimensions you want..it costs a fraction of the price. Also the lumber stores cut all the wood for free here so just get a list have them cut it all and get home with just a drill and some screws slap it together. Hopefully some of this makes sense lol. I’ll send you some pics of my boxes if not. Either way it will be fun to see how you adapt as you grow. Keep up the good work 🙏🏽

      Thanks Tommy a lot to consider here, I hadn’t thought of just using bigger racks to minimise footsteps while condensing but makes alot of sense. Appreciate all the tips and insight

    Quality video Drew thanks for sharing, you've really motivated me to get on top of timing my processes. I think the task that takes a bit of time for me is research when pricing an Item, do you do much product research or do you just estimate a price? Thnx

    • @DrewDTrott
      @DrewDTrott  11 месяцев назад +2

      Hell yeah Marc, it’s super important to know what your capable of in any given hour. With the pricing it’s a split between estimating, using my own sales data as a guide for frequently flipped items, and typical comping for the unknown stuff.

    Hi Drew, curious to know why you prefer to use boxes when shipping internationally? 🤔

    • @DrewDTrott
      @DrewDTrott  11 месяцев назад +2

      Hi Lisa, thanks for the question. I use boxes for international orders simply because the parcel is going to change hands dozens of times and go through the works before it reaches the customer so I figure a box is more likely to arrive in great condition. It is purely for peace of mind and it also doesn’t cost me anything extra to ship (ie box compared to satchel).
