Played this for my 2 month old 3 times before he went in for heart surgery this morrning and he made it out wonderful
This song helped me realize that the battles I had been losing for years (self harm, suicidal thoughts, and constant pain, both physical and emotional) were never mine to fight. So I gave it to God. I couldn't fight that battle any longer. So I let him fight it, and he WON. I haven't hurt myself in several months, and all I feel is peace and a burning purpose in this life. Thank you God.

I’ve been contemplating suicide this week, and I was reading the word today when I felt like I needed to worship. This is the perfect song to go to in really dark times.
I remember when the singer came to CFNI once. Upper Room’s lead pastor was speaking and he invited her to share something because she was a CFNI alumni. She told us that she would audition for the worship team every single year, but she was never put on the team.
Look at her now! God’s timing is perfect!

The guy on stage in the back running around in a circle is so beautiful!!!!. It reminds me of how we can be so free and transparent with Jesus. Whether that be running, sitting, skipping, screaming, shouting, kneeling down or even doing cartwheels. It's all for his glory. All of these actions express the love we have for God.
The depth communicated by the singer is something else. The song came from someone who knows God. I thank God for this song.

Crying myself to sleep and I was led to this song. Never heard this one before, but it aligns so well with my life
i play this song for my babies. they stop crying every time. its anointed.
I was struggling with not being able to forgive people for a long time, because I had felt so hurt, so destroyed and empty because of what so many people had done to me or said to me. I literally carried on for about two years just keeping to myself, keeping conversations to a minimum to avoid being hurt more, to a point where I didn't care about anything anymore. I had lost faith in God, and felt totally alone. But God loved me so much, he didn't want me to live like that. It took me those two years to realize that because I had not had faith, I had not felt it necessary to forgive. I finally turned to God again, and told him, "if you do not help me, I fear I will die." I recommitted my faith to him, and as a step of faith, I had called one of the people that hurt me the most, who never had apologized, and I told him that I forgave him and that I know God forgave him too. He literally broke into tears, saying that he had been waiting for forgiveness from me for 2 years and had been wanting to apologize to me, but felt too ashamed to say anything. He told me how sorry he was, and after I told him I don't need him to say that because I already had forgiven him and didn't expect anything in return, he wept harder. It was then I was able to share the love of God with him, tell him my testimony, and was even able to listen to him getting saved. That was 3 years ago, and one year ago I was able to watch him as he went through water baptism. So no matter how much you feel you aren't worth a grain of sand, you are important enough for God to give away His own Son so that you can be forgiven and have a chance of going to heaven, without giving God anything in return. Amen. Throughout writing this whole comment, I had felt the Holy Spirit so strong on me I almost was slain in the spirit. God wants to do something great in your life, and is waiting for you to let him do it. Will you?
My roommate listened to this song on repeat for weeks when this video came out and i never knew what it was... but it was stuck in my head and in my town we do outreaches and sing on the streets and i have taken the part "my victories in Jesus name" and i have sang prophetically over our town and over myself even. It is such a simple yet effective beat and choice of words. Anything can flow with it. I sing all the time "This land will heal in Jesus name" and "Deliverance for me in Jesus name" Anything can fit in there! This song is such a blessing!!!

Dear Upper Room, please know that this powerful and prophetic song has touched many of all ages. To include my three year old daughter. When the spontaneous version came out, she would make me play it three or four times in a row. And with each time she sang it with the same power and conviction as the first. She and her brother, my son would "play", and still do "play" church and she would be the worship leader; and with her tambourine and microphone she would belt out this song. I knew then that she was a warrior for Christ. She knew praise and prayer were her armor and God would fight for her. So thank you for this song. You all are the real deal. Hard to find these days, when most gospel and christian music is becoming generic or conforming to the world. Thanks for really hearing God and conveying his heart, ways, and decrees through sung word. Blessings to you all.
