Heavy cream is fine, but if it's not already sweetened then you'll need to add sugar (the cream I'm using is plant based and already sweetened). I wouldn't recommend maple syrup or any other liquid sweetener, as it might make the cream runnier. I haven't tried though, so it's just theory, it might also work :) Thank you!
If you want to make it into ice cream use double cream (think the US call it heavy) and a good slug of an alcohol of your choice (eg rum or brandy) which will make it softer as it comes out of the freezer.

Hi, yes, you can use any sweetener, but not in liquid form. It should be easily soluble, but liquids might water down the mixture, so I recommend fine powders (stevia, erythritol etc.). If the grains are too big, you can also use a coffee grinder to get a fine powder. Also keep in mind that I'm using sweetened whipping cream in the video. If you use it unsweetened, you should adjust the amount of sweetener accordingly. Thanks for passing by! :)

The sugar is completely unnecessary, so use any sweetener you like, but preferably as little as possible.

Freezing whipped cream becomes very gloopy upon thawing. I would not recommend it. Fortunately, it is very simple and quick to make when you need it 👍

It depends on the brand and type you use, but if it's in liquid form I think 1 tsp should be enough.
