  • Chandra grew up in Bremerton, Washington, alongside five half-siblings she didn't always see eye-to-eye with. Over time, though, they grew closer. She also noticed her mom was pretty open about using cannabis, which led to curiosity and confusion.
In her twenties, Chandra got married and had two kids. Life seemed good, but things fell apart, and she lost custody of her children. That's when she turned to illegal drugs to cope.
Even though she worked as a hairstylist, her drug use made it hard to keep a steady business. Living with her boyfriend, who was also an addict, didn't help. When they split, Chandra ended up on the streets.
Now, all Chandra wants is stable housing, to get clean, and to be back in her kids' lives. But she's stuck in a cycle of homelessness.
This is a part of her story.

She deserves better but she’s going to have to reach out for the help. It’s so sad.

Thx for watching. We have since seen Chandra a few times around town. In the grocery store last week we bought her some food.

Homeless people need for society to help pick them back up ⬆️ They are hurt. Everyone deserves help and encouragement. How are depressed people supposed to feel hope if there’s nobody there to help pull them through it. Our government sucks!!💔

Some people don’t even trust people enough to reach out to anyone!!

Thanks for watching! Indeed, we learn a lot every time we chat with our neighbors.
