Shout out to the parents in Finland. 😁🙋 Back to school checklist: ☑️ School bag (backpack) That's it! As long as they show up dressed the school will take care of the rest.
Rebecca W It´s the same here in Sweden, but then my sons teacher wanted them to save their pencils by not writing so much. From then on I always made sure he had his own pencils.
We live in a small town in north Georgia and our school system supplies everything except a backpack and lunchbox if needed. It’s awesome but I still stock up on school supplies that we might need for home use.
I only buy pair of shoes and school supplies for the first 3 weeks of school because there still wearing shorts and t-shirts from their summer wardrobe. Then we hit the clearance/sales late September😊👍
ffaalloonn ?! As a teacher for the past 20 years.. I can’t encourage this enough!! I personally start looking in June for last season backpacks and polos. By doing this we have backpacks last us 7 years in elementary.
@kristy plus three yes, I bought my son a rather expensive Jansport backpack in preschool and he's now in 2nd grade and using it still. And yes the dollar store has school supplies but their markers and crayons are not good quality at all.
You could also buy the big packs and split it with friends so your all saving! I love how your saying to let our kids make the mistakes with money while they're young when the consequences are small!
When the weather starts to get cold, our Walmart will put leftover uniform shirts on sale for $1 and uniform shorts for $2. I usually stock up on the next size up and save them for the next school year.
Fantastic tips! Another tip for parents & caregivers: Once you've taken your inventory, split your needed school supplies equally into three lists, one for each summer month - June, July & August. Buy only what is on your list for each month so you don't spend beyond your monthly budget. By the time August rolls around you've got everything!
love this video! i am one of four siblings and back to school shopping can stress out my mom. can’t wait to share some of these tips and hacks with her!!!
Love this!! We do the same with the kids(slight difference) write down what quantity the boys need, and then they choose the items within budget. And if they are dead set on a certain out of budget item, I will let them get it, but I let them know it dips into their budget so they may get less than what they need etc
TJ Maxx is amazing for school clothes!! I always stock up on school supplies. I’m a teacher, in college, and have three kids. School supplies are my happy place. Lol.
Im a grandmother, and I help my daughter with Back to School... I also, have a sibling that goes to College so, yes I help her too. I always try my darndest to get my hands on the "Necessities Lists" for the particular school grade plus the one or two for the next couple grades. As early as possible. This way we get this year, and when the supplies go on sale I put away as much as I can afford for the School Supply Closest. My Daughter can come get what she needs from the closet and purchase the difference for the new year I look for clothes that can be warn during the summer and back to school during the "Summer Clearence Sales", I buy the clothes about 1 to 1 1/2 sizes bigger for longer wear. if its a really good buy i might buy 2 sizes bigger and hold them until next year. My mom had 6 of us, and I remember how hard it was for her doing thev back to school shopping. I remember the excitement of it to. My daughter has 4 and in todays economy its harder. I've tried to get her to meet other parents and neighbors in her school area and arrange a "Closet Swap" in an attempt to make Back to School a little easier. I have another daughter in another state who gets different sales, I ask her to watch her sales and we will watch ours and we do the shoppers hustle and family swap. This works because shes is part of a Military Family, and can utilize the base, and other disciunts and sales. so, we buy for one another and send care packages or holdem till we see one another and swap the stuff. Hope All had a wonderful summer and here's to an awesome back to school and holiday's. Keep an eye on coupons, clearance sales, garage sales, consignment and thrift store sales, online sales too. hope you save alot.
I almost bought the big pack of glue sticks but the individual ones of the same size were cheaper with the sale. Pull out my handy calc to do a quick check.
I love shopping my own stash. Our school sends home the unused supplies at the end of the year. I recycle ♻️ page protectors and pocket folder file tabs. I know what my older kids need and look for clearance after school starts and ALWAYS label everything so my kids can locate and get their supplies returned to them. 👍 love ❤️ the idea of letting them shop for clothes with what they need and a budget.
Love it! I also take inventory and get my kid involved. We have meaningful conversation about what we need vs what we want. My shopping expense went from $110 to $42 by reusing and using things I bought in bulk last year.
I 100% agree with teaching the kids to budget for back to school shopping. We were lucky enough to give our older kids $100 each for school clothes (including shoes) this year and they very quickly learned the importance of clearance racks and sales! Skills for when they’re older! 👍🏻
Interestingly enough, a lot of public schools now are going the uniform route. Particularly ones in districts with significant income disparity. It's meant to put the kids on a level playing field. Obviously parochial schools have the classic plaid skirts and blazers but the public school uniform is usually a school colored polo and khakis.
Our PTA sells premade school supply packs. For my daughter's first year of school I bought everything myself but, I wasted so much time and gas running around to multiple stores and, I only saved $2. It's worth my sanity to order from the PTA!
I’m so glad some schools still call it PTA, that’s what I grew up calling it. My kids school call it something else. Anyways.... they provide supplies for k-3. And if you can’t afford anything you need to contact the school/teacher ahead of time.
Essential Habits By Jamie it just depends on where your school is and what organization they choose to have at the school. Pta has some many more resources then a pto
Pawn shops are also an awesome place to buy instruments. Also, Childrens place online is having a sale, which is awesome for uniforms and jeans are as low as $7.80 a pair. PLUS cash back on ebates.
Another benefit of giving your kids a budget and letting them buy their own clothes saves so much stress. My youngest was very frustrating to shop with so I started giving her a budget and she would work hard to stay within that budget but still got clothes she liked, bonus she was more willing to go to thrift store too. I also let her keep any money leftover after she got everything she needed.
I absolutely love all your tips! I haven't come across a single 1 of your videos that has...like certain other channels...been a complete waste of time. But what I love most is your playfulness & your upbeat personality. It's very refreshing 😊
The flute story is true! I have an almost 13 year old daughter who plays violin. The first year we leased her violin because she was so indecisive with her extra activities that we weren't sure if she would stick with it. But when she decided to do it her second year as well we went ahead and purchased a violin. Glad we did not continue to lease because with the money that we would have spent leasing the violin by now we could have purchased four violins.
I love the idea of giving your kids a budget for their back to school clothes shopping. My son is 6 and loves to dress to impress. He loves school uniforms, even though he is homeschooled. 😜 I'm definitely going to have to give it a shot! Managing money is such an important thing to learn! Thanks a bunch Jordan!! 💓
My oldest son works at Office Max so I get the heads up on their great sales. A few years ago I went slightly bonkers on their penny sales and I haven’t had to buy school supplies for my four kids since!! I’ve actually been able to help friends out with supplies!♥️
Omg agree I do back to school budget and price match with them.. They save from last day to 1st day what they have I match and that's what they use for school clothes and budget :) !! Love love u go over teaching life skills
We gave our kids a budget in middle school for school. It worked beautiful. We have 2 girls, they took better care of their clothes and never "lost" their stuff at school. So many kids who were given everything would leave brand new jackets backpacks etc. at school and never go back for them cuz they knew they could go shopping with no consequences. Best Life lesson opportunity available. They are now in college and very conscious of where they spend their money.
Careful buying used woodwind instruments (flute, sax, clarinet), having to replace the pads can be crazy expensive. If you need a repair, ask the shop for " playable" condition. Then the only repair what needs to be done to get a sound.
Tricia Smith yes! I'm a music teacher and if you don't know specifics of what you're looking for you will end up wasting lots of money on an instrument that doesn't work. I have seen it way too many times. Also beginner instruments break a lot easier. Companies try to make them affordable but when it comes down to it, quality instruments are just more expensive BUT they do have a better resale value if your child doesn't stick with it. Most of the time though if a student has a quality instrument it will be easier to play thus making them more successful and then they will stick with it. Parent involvement and consistent practice all year also helps ensure a child's success too of course. 🙂
I love the envelope system for back to school with kids! I am working on teaching my 3 year old about choices and money so she won't make the same mistakes that I did as an adult.Thank you Jordan!
Best backpack is LL Bean. My mother bought me one in kindergarten (!!!) and I’m still using the exact same one in my late 20s as a carry on. They are incredible and last FOREVER
I don't buy school clothing until the "back to school" clothes (mainly summery clothes) are on clearance. Close to October. When I do buy those on clearance I buy next year's school clothes. So I buy a size up in summer clothes in the fall when they're on clearance mainly for NEXT YEAR. I do that with all seasons once they go on clearance. Love you love the tips!!!
My babies are still so young but I love all of your content because I feel I’m preparing for the future with all of you routines, schedules, systems and tips to staying organized! Four babies is our goal
My kids went back Wednesday. A few weeks ago, our school district had a “backpack drive” where donated supplies were given out already packed inside a backpack to any child who came. We stood in line for 40 minutes on a hot Arizona Saturday morning, but I could immediately cross about half of the items in their lists off, plus, new backpacks! It was so worth it. If your kids attend school in a district with lots of financial needs, pay attention to those emails and flyers. It could end up saving you $$$.
I'm 21 and I don't have kids, but I love watching your videos. You give amazing budgeting and parenting advices. P.s love your new hairstyle, it looks really good on you 😀😉
Thank your channel! I'm a quilter and have found that if you store glue sticks in the freezer, they will last longer and not dry out! Good for this time of year when glue sticks are on sale!
We’re in the UK. We don’t have to buy stationery but we can, usually there’s some in the reduced section? School clothes it has to be a uniform so I buy trousers one month eg May, jumpers July etc to spread the cost
Another tip: if you have a child who is very academic and wants to choose a higher end version of their school supplies- LET THEM GET THE GOOD STUFF! I was very blessed as a child and my parents were always willing to let me get the "good" pens in place of the often crappy Dollar Store pens (this was late 90s early 00s when the Dollar Stores carries their own brands only). When your child is older and going to be using these items everyday, take care to allow them an opportunity to help choose their own supplies (within reason and budget of course). Perhaps the Five Star notebooks over the cheap Hilroy's. Or even the whiteout tape vs. the liquid!
Jordan you NEVER fail me! I just told my husband this morning that I am getting stressed because its back to school shopping time! Your tips are so helpful! I am totally going to give my 11 year old daughter money in an envelope and let her budget her school clothes! Im interested to see how this goes! I got lucky with supplies because my mother in law wanted to get those for my kiddos this year so she took my kiddos shopping for that already😇
Wow, you have a lot of subscribers from the UK, I love how they are all saying they are "breaking up" for summer right now. I love learning how different places say things 🤓😊
One thing I like to do is look ahead and see what supplies all grades ask for (exp-kids in elementary school ALWAYS need multiple glue sticks) so when I can get bulk or clearance deals, I stock up and keep a supply box. So last year I had enough supplies I actually didn’t have to buy anything, I had enough in my supply box. It was a nice surprise!
Last fall I full on did a Shelf Cooking Shelftember approach, mostly for the 4th grader. I just REFUSED to buy some things we already had from last year! Backpacks can last 2-3 years. Lookup what colors are in the 34 pack of Crayola colored pencils and see if you have those colors! I did that and pieced together enough for like 3 kids. 😆 I am going to make the kids help me this year for sure, with a budget.
I used to work for LLBEAN my tips for parents purchasing backpacks is this - 1) if you buy say a Navy Blue or other neutral, solid color the backpack can work for a boy or a girl and can be handed down to another sibling 2 ) bookpacks can be decorated with stickers, little charms, fancy keychains, ribbons etc to make them look like one of a kind - saves $ as kids can use them another year or so & still have a unique backpack just by changing a few decorations
I got a jansport backpack in middle school and I still have it. it’s held up for almost a decade and doesn’t have any damage. I take it on every vacation as a carry on. plus I believe jansport has a lifetime warranty! it’s definitely been worth the mone
I love all these tips. We homeschool but these tips are still applicable! I love being Homeschoolers because we can start our year in late September and get our supplies for CHEAP
Parent advice needed: 1. How much would you give a 16 year old high schooler (boy) to buy school clothes? 2. Where would you suggest they shop? *my son is NOT a shopper but hates what I pick out and where I shop. He’s wearing too small and worn out clothing. He’s 6ft and needs new clothes. 😩😩
As an adult taking classes I purchase notebooks or loose leaf notepaper, folders, binders, pencils, highliters off season , @ the $ store or when they are on sale. Binders are a popular item to get rid of and can often be found at yardsales, thrift stores, sometimes for free even @ the school or if you dumpster dive at the end of the school year. And who doesn't have an assortment of pens around the house or look to local businesses they often will hand them out - don't pay for pens if you don't have to.
Great advice! I remember my mum going to the second hand school clothes shop for me and my sister. Since my school we had different uniforms for summer and winter Mum always got our winter clothes in the next size up. Here in Australia our big back to school is in late January so by mid February all the back to school supplies are on clearance. Where I live we usually get a back to school supply list on the last day of school and Officeworks (kind of like Staples) would find our school supplies for us and all we had to was pick it up. So helpful and didn't cost a cent.
Great video! I’m weird and love buying school supplies. I bought supplies for my kids last week! Your makeup has been beautiful lately...would you consider doing an updated makeup video?
Ah, a fellow flautist! I played flute for all 3 years of middle school. That's my weird flex. Haha But my mom went on Craigslist for my flute and bought it for 45 bucks. Add all the music books and cleaning supplies, we spent about 90 dollars on a 3 year expense. Never forget Craigslist, Facebook marketplace, or eBay for after school supplies. It's like an online garage sale.
Great tips! I'd also suggest labeling your kiddo's supplies (unless you know the teacher pools things for the community). Labeling every. dang. marker and pencil with their name takes awhile, but it's amazing how much longer one labeled pencil lasts!
We are just starting our summer break but I’m already prepared for new school year! You never know what will happen during the summer break and it’s better to be prepared early than run like crazy later to try to find things that are sold out because everyone waits till the end!
Love your hair! Thanks for the great tips! We actually have 3 consignment sales in our area where I resell our gently used clothes, then I turn that money around and buy my daughter clothes for the next season.
YES! to the giving kids a budget for buying their own back to school clothes...I did this with my kids and my son was like your brother...all about the name brand...he'd spent a big chunk of his cash on his shoes and have 2 shirts and a pair of jeans...my girls would have 3 or 4 full outfits,2 or 3 pairs of shoes and even accessories! for the same amount...we shopped yard sales and thrift stores too...and now my 11 grands are all learning the value of a dollar when shopping for their clothes and fun items...we keep them all in clothes with clearance racks...thrifts stores and since there are 8 girls we do lots of what we call 'bless-me-downs' and 'arounds' ….such fun to see clothing go form one girl/household to another then back to the original house in a few years lol...Not as much blessing down with the boys since ther are only 3 and they are 15-13 and 4...thank you for all your helpful hints!
What we do is we buy all of the list and then we wait until they mark everything as clearance, last year we bought a lot of the expensive pretty notebooks that normally would cost $3 for 20 cents each 🙌🏻
Video request!!! How to organize and store ourgrown kids' clothes? :-D I have 3 kids and they are 3 yrs ages apart. Their boxes of outgrown clothes take so much space in our appartment ;(
Label space saver bags & store under your bed or upper closet/hard to reach area. Also if you have just too much maybe just keep things you know you'll want to put the younger one in. I got a lot of hand me down baby clothes which was awesome but took up so much space. We didn't even end up getting to put my son in it all.
I have a Tupperware for each size with the season. For example 2T winter in one Tupperware and then 2T summer in the next. I have 3 kids also and find that a lot of stuff the next one is unable to wear because of the season. That way I can have it already sorted and don't have to dig through coats looking for swim gear. I store the bins in the kids' closets. We are minimalists when it comes to toys so in my opinion closets are for clothes. I only save as much as can fit and only items in really good shape and only items that I really love or know will be useful. The rest I donate to friends or family with younger children, sell online, sell/trade in at kid to kid, or donate to the salvation army. Good luck!
I know for my local music store, you can rent instruments and if your kid and even yourself wanted to continue with that instrument, whatever you paid so far in rent can go towards owning the instrument
I love the idea of letting them shop themselves! My daughter is 10 so I think I will try this with her, she always hates what I pick her out anyway lol
We buy extra but we donate it to the school. We’ve been in the position where we couldn’t afford supplies on our own and had to borrow money to get school supplies. We have 5 kids, 2 in school only buy for 1 due to the court order but we go ahead and double it and just send it to the school for any kids who need it or to cover when anyone runs out. We do that with field trips as well, send a second lunch and pay a second fee. Starting next year we plan to buy extra extras and start a stock pile so when we have more in school we’re more so prepared.
I wish I was sad about summer ending! I’m counting the weeks, if not days 🤣 This is making me realize that we still have fun stuff we need to do, though...
I know the feeling! My kids have been out since 2nd week of MAY and one doesn't go back until Sept! I'm like I can only do this "vacation" mode for so long! Lol.
I can relate. My kids are grown now, but when they were young, I was a single mom with a fulltime job. Summers were hard. Daycare and day camps were expensive, they resented not being able to stay home, and I struggled to find time to do summer stuff with them.
We always had a suitcase of extra school supplies that lived in mums room where you’d buy everything on the booklist and only end up needing half of it. Pretty sure there’s still scrapbooks from year one in there and I’m 20 now 😂 but that was always our first stop when school shopping
My Mom gave us cash in high school and it was the best thing ever. I don't buy clothes at WalMart, so I would just get a spiffy new backpack, folders, specific mechanical pencils (I'm very Type A and take care of my things - I still have those mechanical pencils and I graduated HS in 2007...), etc to be organized throughout the year. He'd buy like one pair of jeans and shirt that were name brand just to keep up with the Joneses. He's STILL bad with money.
Fun fact: In Spain, kids finish school usually before June 20th, but since they have their "final exams" during the first week of June, they have 1-2 weeks of not doing much (or just fun projects). They are mentally on vacation for three months, as school usually starts again around September 10 😂😂😂 Christmas break lasts from the 21st of December til the 8th of January, Easter 10 days (always including Wednesday to Sunday in Holy Week).
Love the tips. My daughter hasn't even finished school yet I've got her uniform already she finishes today. I love your tips about letting kids make chooses. She only 4 I got her to pick her own shoes online will do same when we go shopping for her backpack
It's our last day of school today for the summer break so i will save this for when they return September 4th I think all schools here in England are uniformed. Thankfully most supermarkets sell cheap uniform and we go to the school shop for their logo'd items
So , I’m a new follower and I’ve been obsessed with you!!!😂 I personally love your productivity posts the most! Can’t wait to start the boot camp!😬 Love from Alabama ❤️
I don't even go to school nor have a kid that go school yet I am here lol love you Jordan Page.
Jhoy Pham same lol

Me too! But I do have friends with kids and lots of teacher friends that I shared this with. 😍😊
I mean I’m 6 months pregnant and my son is 3 so he’s not in school but still lol
Jhoy Pham I don’t even have any kids yet and I also watch all her videos, even the kid specific ones 😂

Gummy Bear we live in Pickens County. This is the second year that we have not had to buy school supplies. We are definitely blessed.
I only buy pair of shoes and school supplies for the first 3 weeks of school because there still wearing shorts and t-shirts from their summer wardrobe. Then we hit the clearance/sales late September😊👍
Jennifer, we do similarly. Here in OK we begin school in the middle of Aug, it's hot for much of the first 9 weeks of school.
That's a good idea. I'm in Oklahoma too and she's in uniforms so I try to buy 2 sizes and shorts and pants.
Jennifer H that’s a good point 🤔 💡
I'm a firm believer in "buy it nice or you'll buy it twice" 🤷
ffaalloonn ?! As a teacher for the past 20 years.. I can’t encourage this enough!! I personally start looking in June for last season backpacks and polos. By doing this we have backpacks last us 7 years in elementary.

Grace's World you are so sweet to think of helping your mom this way. I want a daughter like you someday!
I am gonna do the same! j don't want my mom to spend a billion dollars on school supplies, so this video helped alot

Love it! Can you do some school lunch ideas on a budget?
That's a great video idea!
I almost bought the big pack of glue sticks but the individual ones of the same size were cheaper with the sale. Pull out my handy calc to do a quick check.
They usually are!
That's what I do then people are like you could've bought the one

Yassss Please

I appreciate Jordan’s watch tan line 😂 I have the worst tan line from my sandals and I’m glad someone is in the same boat as me!
We're twins! 👯♀️
I have the same watch line lol
Lol me too! My watch tan line is so bad.
Jealous!! I WISH I had a tan line... Just 2 colors for me- pastie, and lobster! 🤓
Love the idea of letting your older kids choose what clothing to buy with a set budget 😊
Do your kids attend private school?
Thank you! Sorry I don't share much info about where my kids attend school for their safety. ❤️

Our prepackaged supplies were more than double what you could buy them for yourself including gas.
Essential Habits By Jamie it just depends on where your school is and what organization they choose to have at the school. Pta has some many more resources then a pto
Same!! As a momma of five, this has made it so much easier. Only thing I have to buy is backpacks (if needed) and new shoes.
OMG... I wish you could give parenting classes....waaaaaay too many entitled kids in the world who do not know the value of a dollar! Love you!
Me: June 23rd, 2020 5:36 p.m. Watching you and scanning the docs to suboffices and enjoying your positive energy and nails surely.

Thats great! How old is your daugther?
mila maria she is 23 now but at 12 she was a handful and shopping with her was not fun.
I'm 23 now too, married two little kids, looking for all the good parenting tips i can get for future 👍 anymore good advice?
👏👏 You are freaking amazing!!! My daughter will be starting Kindergarten this year, excited and nervous! 😭
My parents gave us our clothes budget and let us pick our own clothes. Really taught me how to spend my money wisely!
If you have stores like Ross, Marshall’s, and TJ Maxx they have amazing school clothes and cheap prices
Careful buying used woodwind instruments (flute, sax, clarinet), having to replace the pads can be crazy expensive. If you need a repair, ask the shop for " playable" condition. Then the only repair what needs to be done to get a sound.
Good tip!
Love this! We homeschool and I'm so excited to go into the stores a bit after school starts to snag those deals😉💖
Thank you for sharing all your ideas Jordan! You have blessed me and my family!
Best backpack is LL Bean. My mother bought me one in kindergarten (!!!) and I’m still using the exact same one in my late 20s as a carry on. They are incredible and last FOREVER
Yay!!! I love your videos! I am a homeschool mommy of eight and since we’re all on one income, we have to be frugal on what we buy! Thanks!
I seriously love your videos and use them for myself. I dont have kids but I am in college and they are useful!
Love this tip!
That's awesome!
I'm 21 and I don't have kids, but I love watching your videos. You give amazing budgeting and parenting advices.
P.s love your new hairstyle, it looks really good on you 😀😉
Daniella Dukanovic yes!!! Loving her hair here.
So glad this was helpful for you! ❤️
Love her energy!!!!
Lol 😆 my cousin once spent her high school clothes budget on a leather jacket. She still has the jacket but learned her lesson.
I used to work for LLBEAN my tips for parents purchasing backpacks is this - 1) if you buy say a Navy Blue or other neutral, solid color the backpack can work for a boy or a girl and can be handed down to another sibling
2 ) bookpacks can be decorated with stickers, little charms, fancy keychains, ribbons etc to make them look like one of a kind - saves $ as kids can use them another year or so & still have a unique backpack just by changing a few decorations
I got a jansport backpack in middle school and I still have it. it’s held up for almost a decade and doesn’t have any damage. I take it on every vacation as a carry on. plus I believe jansport has a lifetime warranty! it’s definitely been worth the mone
I LOVREEEEEE YOUR CHANNEL. I am learning so much from you
I would love to see how you organize and stash “hand me downs”. I have. 4 boys and try to keep the good clothes but we don’t have a ton or room!
I love all these tips. We homeschool but these tips are still applicable! I love being Homeschoolers because we can start our year in late September and get our supplies for CHEAP
Parent advice needed:
That's a good idea!
YAAASSSSS it always makes my day when you have new videos! I love your channel!!
Aww thanks for the love, Lacie! ❤️
I'm very new to your channel, but I'm OBSESSED! I go back and watch your older videos and am loving all the info!! Thanks girl!! Fellow UTAHNS!! 💜💜
Great tips!! I love the letting your kids shop for their clothes one! :)
What we do is we buy all of the list and then we wait until they mark everything as clearance, last year we bought a lot of the expensive pretty notebooks that normally would cost $3 for 20 cents each 🙌🏻
So smart!
Love the idea of having kids budget for clothes!
Video request!!! How to organize and store ourgrown kids' clothes? :-D
I have 3 kids and they are 3 yrs ages apart. Their boxes of outgrown clothes take so much space in our appartment ;(
What about those space saving vacuum bags?
Louise Adams yeah those vacuum bags are the best!
I’d totally watch that video!
Good luck!
Flautist, is the correct label. My daughter played through college!
The Children's Place has really good quality uniforms for a good price and they always have sales and coupons. :)
Agreed!
Can find TCP at walmart.com as well!
These are the BEST budgeting tips for back to school I’ve ever heard. A+++ Thank you so much!
So glad you liked them!
Jordan Page, FunCheapOrFree Thanks!
My parents gave me a budget for BTS in high school. It worked out great. It taught me how to budget and decide what was a necessity vs. a want.
I wish all parents did this! It helps so much later in life! Good for them and you!
Agreed that you absolutely do not need to buy new musical instruments! Places even have rent-to-own programs (CadenceMusic.com for one). 🎵 🎻🎺🎸🎶
Lol much needed video and I'm so glad to see I'm not the only one with a smart watch tan line 😍💙😍
I love the watch tan 😜
🤣
Love it!
As a college student I will definitely need this.
My little one breaks up from school today! They don't go back til September 😅 Taking notes for then! Thank you 😁
We always had a suitcase of extra school supplies that lived in mums room where you’d buy everything on the booklist and only end up needing half of it. Pretty sure there’s still scrapbooks from year one in there and I’m 20 now 😂 but that was always our first stop when school shopping
As a parent and teacher, I needed this video.
Always have great tips. IN your supply room, what is on the clipboards?
Those are the kids chores/to do lists. Check out her video on keeping the kids busy over summer break
@@JDLauren thanks
I LOVE HER HAIR NOW❤️❤️
Aww thank you!
Love the tips. My daughter hasn't even finished school yet I've got her uniform already she finishes today. I love your tips about letting kids make chooses. She only 4 I got her to pick her own shoes online will do same when we go shopping for her backpack
It's our last day of school today for the summer break so i will save this for when they return September 4th
I think all schools here in England are uniformed. Thankfully most supermarkets sell cheap uniform and we go to the school shop for their logo'd items
So , I’m a new follower and I’ve been obsessed with you!!!😂
I personally love your productivity posts the most! Can’t wait to start the boot camp!😬
Love from Alabama ❤️
Hi Shelbi!! So glad to have you! I can't wait for you to start it either! Make sure to use code RUclips for 10% off!
Love your hair, Jordan! Super cute!
I was literally just scouring your RUclips playlists yesterday to find a video like this. Thank you!
I am a senior in university but like, I love these videos!
I’m kind of late but you are rocking the haircut! So pretty 🥰❤️
Crazy kids go back so soon! Kids in NJ and when I was young go back to school the first week of September and start summer break the 3rd week of June
