After almost TWO YEARS since the announcement of Arknights Endfield, we got more news and hope that it's an actual game and in development. Along with tweeting the picture above, they also dropped two new trailers for the game!
The character design and UI is just top notch as expected of Hypergryph. The combat looks more akin to the action combat you find in JRPGs like Tales of Arise instead of it being like Punishing Gray Raven or upcoming Wuthering Waves but we need to see more of the combat system to be certain. It also looks like base building and exploration is going to be a key focus point of Endfield.

This game looks way to good to be a mobile game jeez
though it will never be "optimized" for mobile. calling it a mobile game is just an excuse to be a gacha free to play game and to be more accessible to players.

From what we're seeing so far, that seems like a pretty good comparison at the moment
Can never beat xenoblade tho, just teleport same place and the resource return but this kind of game need to wait tomorrow for resources refresh

But the comparison works pretty well in my opinion

The gameplay remembering me dragon age inquisition when they can fight together, and activating skill together
Same, needed another game like DA inquisition with that kind of mechanics
Damm Ark knights Endfield looks way much better than i thought with first teasers!!! The great point is the gameplay for sure!! I thought would be some turn based... or something like that.. tower defense...
But holy cow!! U can use 4 chars at same time and they atack together with u!! That's great!!! Way better than Genshin mechanics!!! Now I'm hyped!!!

Arknight Endfield masih berpotensi untuk bisa dijalankan di mobile, hanya saja mungkin ini akan lebih berat dari genshin, tapi seperti yang kita lihat teknologi mobile berkembang dengan sangat cepat bahkan snapdragon 6 gen 1 bisa didapatkan dengan harga yang sangat murah sekarang, kita sudah melihat game seperti wuthering waves, genshin impact, dan punishing gray raven dengan grafis yang sebanding dengan pc dijalankan dengan sangat mulus di mobile bahkan dengan suhu yang stabil atau dapat dibantu dengan fancooler, hanya untuk game seperti ini bukan hal yang mustahil untuk dijalankan di mobile, kita tunggu saja apakah mereka bisa meng-optimasi kan game ini untuk mobile, mungkin butuh 2 tahun sampai 5 tahun mendatang.
This anime futuristic adventure open world game Arknights: Endfield looks so awesome for a scifi and anime fan like me, can't wait to play this on my pc! 🔥🔥
If Genshin had this combat style on top of its elements system it may overriden how much I despised the gacha system. I hope this game has something similar to Genshin's element system, where you can combo the abilities of the characters together.
It doesn't even have to be completely elemental. It can be something like one character's ability launching an enemy airborne then one of your teammates has an ability that immediately activatea when an emeny gets knocked in the air.

Gameplay looks pretty generic to me. It got xenoblade vibe but its not that bad
The standing fight system seem very bad, no jump, very small area to explore.
