I am truly in awe of her. She is astonishingly strong, limber, energetic, precise, graceful, bright, passionate and beautiful. I keep coming back to her performances. She left the world a wonderful gift.

I was an Osipova fan a few years ago. But her presentation has changed a little these recent years. She no longer looks as carefree with her huge jumps and lovely acting. I am enjoying Guillermo, Nunez, and some other dancers who are "new" to me.

There is a beautiful documentary of her from a fair while ago. It has the piano rehearsal of Raymonda, In the Middle Somewhat Elevated and the Cinderella rehearsal. I have it on, of all things VCR. She was always a favourite.
First i saw a documentary of her, years ago, her daily life and i was immediately taken with her. A born ballerina! and a lot of work. My favorite is her Grand pas classique, shown first in this video, at 19, so much class, beauty. Thank you!

A good way to nove could express something but a dancer is not a machine, and a great dancer must express something more then a right pose. I see a ballerina with something disturbing.
@@LanaW123 There are great ballerinas past and present, who have necks, backs and arms that are on the same level as Ms Guillem’s. But in legs and feet, she is a cut above them all. I am only referring to natural gifts here, not artistry or hard work.

S.Zhakarova, also great, her "special hallmark" is her arms and hands, thats how Baryshnikov noticed her and picked her out.
These dancers are top tier athletes! Anyone, doubt this? Okay, show me how its done. I was a kid in the 70's and my folks loved this stuff, so I hated it. My mom signed me up for ballet, tap and jazz dance classes and I refused!! I would burn in hell before I did this stuff!!! Now, (ID. asside) I wonder if I could have even done this but, I was really good at sports LOL
