Breaking Bad follows protagonist Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a chemistry teacher who lives in New Mexico with his wife (Anna Gunn) and teenage son (RJ Mitte) who has cerebral palsy. Hank at least mentioned the more obvious giveaways when he confronted Walt in the garage, like the driving into traffic and the call with Marie’s fake accident. I would assume he tied every suspicious instance to Walt being Heisenberg, including this dinner scene and the “you got me”. I would have lost it too!

What I love about the breaking bad universe is that it’s made up of these small moments that can change everything, which is very true to reality. Had Walt not been so drunk and opened his mouth, Hank would never have looked back at the case and had suspicions about Gus and eventually Walt himself.

In hindsight I do believe hank would've eventually searched for the person cooking the blue stuff again once he learned it kept coming up in the streets. Walt just shaved off about a year's worth of waiting around to look back into it.

Title is misleading, Walt wasnt “challenged” hank was just stating facts about what was right in front of him. Walt took it personal because it was really all HIS work that hank was talking about. Just his pride and fragile ego that couldn’t let it go. This was walt’s ticket out of Hanks crosshairs and he just blew it because he’s an insecure narcissist

I been drinking red wine for 20 years. 100% Walt is drinking a light-bodied, table red wine. It's not that strong in alcohol (usually around 11% vol) and gives a bit less of hangover than full bodied stronger wines/ports.
Imagine what Gus,Saul and Jesse will say when they watch this clip lol like how stupid are you to get Hank back on yalls trail!
