Beautiful view of Space Shuttle Discovery dropping in to land at Edwards Air Force Base California to complete the STS-128 mission. You can see Wingtip Vortices off the wings of the orbiter. You can here the sonic booms at the beginning of the video. STS-128 launched from the Kennedy Space Center Florida on August 28, 2009 at one minute till midnight. I was a NASA invited guest for the launch and was at the KSC Banana Creek VIP viewing site. Amazing night launch! This is beautiful landing footage in HD video.
