Veg Pulao in rice cooker with in 15 minutes | Restaurant style Vegetable pulao recipe

    Ingredients:
    * Oil - 4 tsp + butter - 1 tsp
    * Biryani spices - Bay leaves ( 5 )
    Elaichi ( 3 )
    Cinnamon ( 2 )
    Cloves ( 5 )
    Nut mug
    Mace ( Javitri )
    Star anise ( 1 )
    * Green chillies - 5
    * Mint - 1 cup
    * Finely chopped coriander - 1 cup
    * Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
    * Finely chopped carrot - 1 cup
    * Finely chopped beans - 1 cup
    * Finely chopped potato - 1 cup
    * Cashew ( kaju) - 1/4 th cup
    * Rice ( Basmati) - 2 glasses( You may use any Rice)
    * Water - 3 glasses ( Add 1.5 glass of water for 1 glass of rice)
    * Salt - 2 tsp
    Preparation:
    1) Heat 4 tablespoons of Oil and 1 tsp butter
    2) Add all whole biryani spices and fry for a few seconds until they become fragrant.
    3) Next add 5 green chillies, 1 cup mint, 1 cup finely chopped coriander.Stir and sauté for about 1 minute.
    4) After that add 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, Stir and sauté for some seconds until the raw aroma of the ginger & garlic goes away.
    5) Now add all the chopped veggies, 1 cup finely chopped carrot, 1 cup finely chopped beans, 1 cup finely chopped potato. You can also add cauliflower, tomatoes, onions.Mix and sauté again for 4 to 5 minutes. After that add cashew nuts and saute for 1 minute.
    6)Add 1.5 glass of water for 1 glass rice.( use the same glass).I added 3 glasses of water. Depending on the quality of rice you have used, you can add less or more water.
    7) Add already soaked 2 glasses of Basmati rice.Make sure you must drain the water from rice. Add rice into the cooker. Mix it. ( Here I took 2 glass of basmati rice and wash rice in water until it runs clear of starch. Next, soak the rice in enough water for 30 minutes).
    7) Finally add 2 tsp of salt , Stir it well. Close the lid properly.
    8) Cook it for about 10 to 15 minutes.Serve hot.
    9) If you are doing this in pressure cooker then, cook it for 1 whistle on high flame ( Don't cook it for more than one whistle)
    After 1 whistle turn off the flame.once the cooker cools down completely open it carefully. Take it out in a serving plate.
