I'm using Google Pixel 4a. The purest android experience! Hehehe. Peace out!
:D So in a way, hindi sulit yung flagship, parang nagiging status symbol nalang. Nice to have and that's what I use when I go out. But if nasa bahay lang tapos content consumption or gaming, ayun, dun ako sa mid-ranger ko na hindi naman slouch when it comes to those things.
Personally, this is why I'm thankful for Xiaomi/Poco. I used to get Flagship/high-powered phones every 10-12 months when I was younger. It started with several SonyEricsson P-series phones, a couple of XDA, and a lot of Samsungs. Then I got older with more responsibilities including mortgage. Again thanks to Xiaomi/Poco, I could still enjoy almost the same experience without having to spend a lot. Sure there are compromises, but for the price I'm paying (& more importabtly the money I'm saving), I can't ask for more :)
Love this comment. Agree with you bro. Its all about priorities over too much specs that you dont really need on a daily basis.
Same, before i always go for flagships from samsung to LG and I like customizing them. But they started to compete with Apple including their price tag which eventually a peasant like me can't afford. I saw Poco F1 and made me move to the Xiaomi flagship killer line up. Affordable price and easy to unlock and customize pa. Haven't change brands yet.
Huawei mate 10 pro user here.
For me, gimmick lang parin ang 120hz refresh rate at ang kapalit battery life.
This is the simplest discussion of the underrated topic (na ayaw ng mga phone brands matackle due to marketing strrategy 🤣) more power to you dadeeh 🙏malulugi sila sayo 😆
Isa pang hindi masyado napapansing segment: old flagships. For a price close to current midrange, may makukuha ka nang lumang flagships in pristine condition. Like for example yung brandnew ng Samsung A53, may makukuha ka nang S20 Ultra na in pristine condition pa din. Hindi siya brand new oo, pero still top of the line ang offers for you and definitely still a better steal than most midrangers ngayon.
So true, it depends from what kind of use talaga. Like me using a Samsung A72 na Oo medyo mahal nga na considered as upper midrange pero it's still a good phone for everyday use. It's good to have this kind of advice 🖤 nice one sir!
But for me that's the best way to address the topic of getting a Flagship phone nowadays.. and for sure dagdag ideas rin to change our pov sa laging nilalaban nilang midrange. Solid sir! Thank you! 💪
Sir you got my respect! Nice ikw plng s mga pinoy reviewer ung nagsabe nang totoo when it comes to comparing mid range and flagship phones. Truthful, honest and straight to the fact! Dahil dyan subscriber mo n ako, keep up the good job! God bless
Well said boss 😊😊 planning to buy flagship device sana pero sa vlog and explnation mo boss napaisip ko kung bbili ako ng worth 40k flagship kaya naman ng midrange makakatipid pako 25k makakabili pako ng mga kailangan na mas importante maraming salamat boss, I hope you get millions of followers ☺️😊😉
As an owner of Black Shark 3 which I bought on Shopee 11.11 (10k discount holy), I am already satisfied with the Snapdragon 865 level of performance. To be honest, I see myself buying midrange phones in the future (3 to 4 years), expecting them to be at 2020 or even 2021 flagship performance. Although we cannot take away the satisfaction people get with having a latest flagship phone. Intangible things we appreciate from material things lol
Low - Mid ranged phone talaga ang the best ngaun. Recently, gumaganda nga naman ang specs ng low/mid ranged phones...so much na for an everyday and budget gaming use...pedeng pede na. For 7k, makakahanap ka na ng 4gb/128gb to 6gb/128gb with other good specs.
Hi PTD! Nice topic tho. Thumbs up!
Mas sulit bumili ng android flagship after 1 or 2 years. 😁😁😁
Nice one! In addition, flagship devices are promised with some 3-5 years of security updates. On another note, some mid-rangers have bigger batteries than flagships. 👍👍
Bilang isang minimum wager at heavy user. Mas maganda talaga na 2 ang phone mo. Bakit? 1. Meron akong maliit na phone (second hand) ( Xperia z5 compact) bali eto yung contact phone ko. 2. Isang mid range phone. Bali pag low bat yung phone mo. You tube ka sa kabila or nood ng movies.
First time watching this vlogger 😊 relate na relate ako sa sinabi nya sa video HAHA 😂 Last year, I was about to buy Oneplus 8T but then Xiaomi Mi 10T series was released. Kaya ayon! Nag Mi 10T ako then ung extra money ko ginastos ko nalang for family bonding. 😂
sa ngaun best option talaga ang Poco F3 as mid range/flagship killer. specs 120hz refresh rate, super amoled, build, benchmark Etc. almost same sa sinasabing FlagShip kuno. mas affordable pa. 2-3 years palagay ko goodshit parin to. 80K mo sa flagship 16K-20K sa F3?
A lot of more techie Filipinos need to watch this! That's why a lot of people nowadays go for midrange, top in line processors but it would always have their caveats like no sd card expansion slot or no headphone jack. Be smart consumers!
New subs here. Yup! I agree.
While I love my Redmi Note 8 Pro, I believe flagships do have their place and they really feel more solid and refined than their midrange counterparts. It's like, you know, a Corolla Altis these days is loaded with technology and runs pretty well, but if you have the money and you want a better car, you can get a Lexus. Is it 5x better? Maybe not, but affluent people don't bother with such metrics. You buy a Lexus not only to get features, if you know what I mean. With phones, it kinda follows the same logic, not as much, but kinda.
Haha this is true. Sometimes, the flex and optics are priceless. Plus maybe the added placebo effect too of knowing that you have the latest and greatest.
@@pinoytechdad yeah. My Samsung S9+, at least in real world use (performance, using Facebook etc) isn't so far ahead of my Redmi, but hold it in hand and it just feels better. Like holding a bundle of P1K bills. Hahaha.
May human to human connection. It makes me have a second second thought sa pag pili ng bibilhin kong cellphone. I recently started vlogging pero nag explore palang ako. I don't really have a permanent content yet. Di ko pa alam ang gusto ko. You inspire me na gawin ko din ang the same approach na giganagawa mo sa viewers mo. Keep it up.
Proud at masaya ako dito sa phone ko Poco F2 Pro last year flagship killer, astig pag laruan yung pop-up camera nya. Minsan pa nalubog sya sa swimming pool pero wala namang naging problema hanggang ngayon working parin.
Sa madaling salita only buy what you can afford, sa panahon ngayon dapat praktikal tayo lalo na sa money spending kung may sobra ka nasa hell go for it kung sapat lang doon lang tayo sa kaya ng bulsa...
Been using my dad's Galaxy S8 since launch.
I like the way mag review si sir. New SUB HERE!
Kudos to this vlogger!! Sobrang galing ng explanation mo to the point na napa comment ako. 😂 been watching many tech vloggers lately because i want to buy a new phone kasi nanghihinayang narin ako mag flagship since parang mas usable yung mga midrange base narin on their prices and so far sayo talaga yung nakuha ko yung sense, knowing that im not so familiar with tech words. You deserve more subscribers sir!
I can download so many apps, 128 ROM.
Hi sir Techdad, super thank you for this kind of video. Napaka-helpful for me na balak bumili ng new phone. Pero ang struggle ko lang is what mid-range phone should I buy, torn kasi ako sa Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite or Poco X3 NFC (more on camera features sana yung preference ko, na sulit naman for storage and gaming sana). Yun lang po, salamat. God bless.
Anyway thank you PTD sa information! Nakakatulong talaga sa pg decide kng anong phone talaga ang bibilhin :) practicality is the key
Sir Janus, try mo ri i tackle yung call quality and signal quality kasi telepono pa rin siya despite of many features.. Try to discuss the phone that are best for the bush and those with high call quality. Thanks
Best option is to get a 2nd hand flagship device after a year. Hanap ka lang ng presentable at walang issue na 2nd hand. marami rin kasi nagbebenta ng flagship device after a year na maganda panaman ang performance.
Siguro matter of preference na lang talaga. Kung may budget to go for full blown flagship, why not? Pero siguro if you're on a tight budget, you need manage your expectations. Separate the needs from wants. Yun lang naman. In my case, I want to go for S21 pero tight budget. I opted for Poco F3. *'sing ganda, pero di 'sing mahal* 😂😂😂
It's true naman talaga na midrange is really the way to go for practicality. Mahirap lang gawin yun especially if tech reviewer! hehe. Gustong-gusto mo talaga masubukan yung flagship!
Hello sir been using flagship devices eversince na nagabroad ako every year I have a new flagship phone...experia acro S...LG G3...Iphone 6 plus....LG V10....XPERIA Z5 PREMIUM...SAMSUNG GALAXY S7 EDGE...THEN LG G6 however nagakaanak ako ang gaya ng sabi mo sir e praktikalan and what if yung sobrang pera na ipapambili mo ng flagship e ilaan mo sa ibang bagay..and I have realized nga na gimik lang ibang feature ng phone...I dnt play games on mobile I just watch videos/movies...take pics and read a lot on my phone kaya I have been using my redmi note 9 since release and wala naman ako naecounter na prob at ayos din ang battery life 👌 ...PS YOU GOT A NEW SUBSCRIBER HERE 😁
New subscriber!
Hehehe. I'm using a flagship device now, luma na nga lang. Huawei P30 Pro.
Agree! Kaya waste of money talaga. Sobranf sayang sa pera hahaha.
Midrange devices have compromises. No regrets.
How about buying old flagships vs new midrange phones? nacover to ni mrwhosetheboss pero I'm wondering kung ano take niyo dito, lalo sa ph setting. ty sir

Due to this pandemic, I think Midrange are more advisable than Flagships
Truu pwera nalang Kung madami Kang pera
Kung gagamitin mo up to 2years ang mid range ramdam muna ang pag bagal pero sa flagship smooth na smooth parin kahit ilang taon pa

This guy is underrated! Ngayon lang ako naka kita ng gantong content and importante to sa mga consumers. ❤
Ito ang real talk, may sense of value,
Hi sir Techdad, super thank you for this kind of video. God bless.
Poco x3 nfc goods po yon if camera reference mo po
Very enlightening topic. 💯👍kudos man!
for me I'll always go for practicality & performance.
Thanks
Napa subscribe ako bigla tama ganito dpat review hnd puro positive at bola lng dpat tlga yung totoo
Agree ako sayo boss! In this situation dapat talaga maging practical gaya nga sabi mo gimik
The Best Talaga Channel Nato✌️👍😁🇵🇭 Keep it up and more subscriber ✌️
It's true naman talaga na midrange is really the way to go for practicality. Mahirap lang gawin yun especially if tech reviewer! hehe. Gustong-gusto mo talaga masubukan yung flagship!
Hello sir been using flagship devices eversince na nagabroad ako every year I have a new flagship phone...experia acro S...LG G3...Iphone 6 plus....LG V10....XPERIA Z5 PREMIUM...SAMSUNG GALAXY S7 EDGE...THEN LG G6 however nagakaanak ako ang gaya ng sabi mo sir e praktikalan and what if yung sobrang pera na ipapambili mo ng flagship e ilaan mo sa ibang bagay..and I have realized nga na gimik lang ibang feature ng phone...I dnt play games on mobile I just watch videos/movies...take pics and read a lot on my phone kaya I have been using my redmi note 9 since release and wala naman ako naecounter na prob at ayos din ang battery life 👌

Hehehe.
I'm using a flagship device now, luma na nga lang. Huawei P30 Pro.
Thank you Sir Janus for all the info you are sharing with your channel. God bless you.
Wireless charger is no gimik, dolby is no gimik.i respect ur opinion but some feats are impt to some users.
depende sa gumagamit.. for example for me mas gagastusan ko nalang yung PC ko kesa sa cellphone.. dahil browsing and call and txt lang naman gamit ko pag phone..

Kaya waste of money talaga.
S20 Ultra - 25k
S20+ 21k
S20 18k
Plan ko ay LG V50. Flagship na nasa 8k nalang.
Midrange devices have compromises.
No regrets.
A few weeks ago, namiss ko mag android so sabi ni misis kunin ko nalang yung 11t pro, sabi ko wag na, kumuha ako ng xiaomi 12 as backup phone. to put it lightly, medyo underwhelming xa compared sa experience ko with iphone 13 pro max.
Watching with my poco x3 pro flagship performance leading 4g processor pero di mo nasali ung 5g features ni flagship...sobrang sulit pinagipunan ko na 10k...ung 30-100k pangbili ng motor gaya ng Honda click, nmax at iba pa...
First time to watch your vlog at ang dami ko natutunan...worth watching! New sub here 👋
Salamat po
Nice content sir. Very useful para sa mga hindi techy...
Thank you sir 😅 i've been torturing myself for getting an entry level phone, glad to watch your video.
i like this kind of content a very honest content. meron akong oppo reno 5 4g and red magic 5g isang midrange at isang gaming phone na pang glagship na ofcourse yung perfomance and honestly di mo talaga masasabi yung difference sa speed if ginagamit mo lang siya as a daily driver and if sa games hindi rin pansin unless lalaruin mo na yung sobrang bibigat na game like genshin impact dun mo na makikita yung difference. pero if lalaruin mo eh mga ml lang din walang sense yung pag bili mo ng flagship. honestly ang flagship is para lang may maipagyabang ka or maipakita lang sa tao na may pera ka pambili or sadyang gustong gusto mo lang yung design at may pera at mayaman naman kayo alam ko maraming ma t trigger sakin na mga naka flagship pero yan ang totoo ehh.. for me mid range device is all you need but in the end of the day ang pinaka importante niyong tandaan kapag bibili kayo ng phone is "kailangan ko ba talaga ang gantong specs?" .
There's more to it pla.
Dati puro flagship din binibili ko pro narealize ko mas magandang bumili ng flagship phone last year or ung mga midrange device kc ang phone mabilis bumba ang value
Merry Christmas dad salamat sa info godbless more videos
Nice video! realtalk ka sir. para sakin totoo po mga sinabi mo kasi after the release date of a flagship devices. maybe next year yung mga gimmick ng flagship eh nilalagay ng mga flagship killer or sa midrange. one of the best example is amoled karamihan sa high tier lang matatagpuan ang amoled pero ngayon marami ng gumagamit na mga midrange devices. pag patuloy mo po mga nice video mo. keep it up to you sir 🔥🔥🔥
Hi sir! Thank you for this Video☺️
How about buying old flagships vs new midrange phones? nacover to ni mrwhosetheboss pero I'm wondering kung ano take niyo dito, lalo sa ph setting. ty sir
By the way nice video and tips dami ko nalaman sa video mo cool na cool
