Hi for the past 4 months I’ve been on 2000 calories a day and I also burn 400 - 600 calories a day through my training, I’ve gone from 87kg to 73kg, losing around 1kg to 1.6kg a week I’m wondering if this is a normal weight loss ? I’m not overly hungry through the day and I still have lots off energy thanks for any advice 👌

Loove D-balls and a dumbell snatch. I guess the only difference in Crossfit is that we are more metric-focused and do rounds for time or like an EMOM rather than one round of each thing. We're also very conscious of form and technique and not doing "no reps" but you don't need to be if you just do it for fitness and not competition. Definitely very functional training method.

I like and admire his approach - not worry about the numbers or 'data' on displays, just go for 100% effort with good form. People giving this guy a thumbs down have to realise, this guy trains for functional/practical fitness that can save his life and that of others if need be, and this guy has the credentials to back it up, as in 'been there, done that, got the t-shirt'. And for those who do not know this man's background, he was a Sniper in the Royal Marines.

I was hoping someone would say this. What people should be looking for is correct muscle function. Sure you'll get a cardio workout doing this, but the problem is that most people have lots of muscle imbalances and just throwing around weights doing these " functional " type of exercises will not fix these issues. They could even make your imbalances drastically worse as form means nothing in this type of training. What one should be looking to do is correct these imbalances by strengthening weak muscles, stretching tight muscles and working on proportions. Your posture will drastically improve and so will your nerve function. You'll also be a hell of alot stronger. If you want to see a someone who knows how to train properly,John Meadows or Wesley Vissers are guys you should look at.
